I went to this Jeweler looking for a person to adjust a very important ring I had (not a big ask). The jeweler was not there at the time, so the clerk took my number to verify the times he would be there in the future so that I didn't have to leave the ring at the shop without me. They called me that night, as promised, and left a detailed voicemail about the jeweler's schedule. Unfortunately, I got so busy and wasn't able to go for another two months. I finally was able to stop by and really needed the ring adjusting at this point, but was with my two kids, so a little hesitant to go in as we all know young children in a Jewelry shop sometimes don't combine well :) I explained who I was, and another person went to the back with the ring. I looked at some other rings while waiting for about 5 minutes. The original woman who had called me came out, with the ring already adjusted, smiling remembering exactly who I was. She told me I was all set and insisted I didn't need to pay! But, I had found such a cute well priced 35-dollar ring, and silly me had left my wallet in my car. I offered my phone to the woman as I really wanted to buy the ring because it was dainty, beautiful gold with small diamonds, and matched my style. She insisted I don't need to do that, and even offered to watch my kids, while I ran to the car. I came back in and she offered my children lollipops, she had asked their ages, and remembered their names by the end of this 10-minute interaction, and was just so incredibly kind despite them opening and closing a few ring boxes amidst the wait. Not once did she seem bothered at all. Interactions such as these are the reason I love to support local businesses. The customer service, and kindness this woman emitted, make the world just a little brighter. Thank you to the staff at McGarry's! My new ring is doing amazing under my heavy-use circumstances, and my old one fits perfectly now. I'll definitely be back, and would recommend...
Read moreWords cannot express what an amazing job McGarry's Jewelers did on my ring. When my husband proposed 13 years ago he removed three diamonds from his Grandmother's setting and had them put into a new setting and earrings. Last year I had to have my rings cut off due to a medical condition. So after a year without them I decided earlier this week to have the diamonds put back into the original setting. I went to McGarry's and asked them to work their magic. The original setting is from the 1940's and was very tarnished as well as grinded down from having the diamonds removed. Well, to say they exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I didn't even imagine the ring could be this beautiful. And on top of it they didn't overcharge me. They also took into consideration the sentimental value my husband and I both have for this ring. I truly believe I never would have received such compassionate service at a chain jeweler. My heart skipped a beat when I laid eyes on my ring. I will be returning to have my husband's Grandmother's wedding band restored as well. If you want friendly, caring, and honest service, you have to look no further than your...
Read moreI came in after being at a number of jewelers. I had a setting and a stone I was looking to combine, but was open to getting a new setting as well. Everywhere else simply told me combination was not possible and offered no real service in finding a way to utilize the stone or setting. We went into McGarry’s, and they looked at the stone and setting and stated they could combine them if I was open to getting a new head for the setting. Ultimately, I decided to purchase a new setting from them and have them place the stone I had into it. I was on an advanced timeline, and needed it done within two weeks. This was at 1:00 PM. At 3:00PM, they called and said they had finished my ring. I was shocked, and it was beautiful. They did a fantastic job and helped me pick out and create a wonderful engagement ring. They also cleaned and buffed another ring I had on the spot. I will be going back if I need any other jewelry services. This is why small businesses are wonderful, and it would be hard to find a better example of a small town small business than McGarry’s. I cannot recommend...
