Used to be a repeat customer whenever I was in town, even after management transitioned. After the experience today, however, I likely will not be back.
I scheduled an appointment for a new set after having gotten fill multiple times (my full set had been going on almost 2 months), but the tech seemed far more concerned with rushing and insisted on another fill. My natural nails underneath were completely ruined, the top coat of polish did not cover my entire nail, and the tech was far too aggressive with the filer and took off a lot of skin as a result. Now, 3 days later, the polish is peeling off, my skin is still healing, and my nails underneath are still a disaster. Not to mention I was charged for shaping even though there was no shaping to be done since they were already almond and I wasn’t getting a new set.
I brought my niece with me and she also had a poor experience. Although (as a child) her nails are very tiny, we were charged the full adult price. She was pressured more than once to change the color of polish and had I not intervened, likely would have ended up with a color she didn’t want.
Staff would have continued to have my business had it not been for the multiple issues at this most recent visit. They seemed in a rush and attempted to grub for money in any possible way they...
Read moreI went in for a manicure pedicure. It was the slowest service I've ever received. 2.5 hrs later and I left unsatisfied with the manicure. They assigned me the most unskilled and the slowest nail technician they have. I'm also certain she had zero credentials. I asked for a shellac manicure with clear nail polish, pretty simple or so I thought. However, the manicure itself was awful, barely touched the cuticles, didn't buff the nail or anything. I had unevenness on my nails and I actually said something to the owner because of it. As a result he came over to work on them. At that point I would've just finished and never returned. Next thing you know the original nail tech starts using a glitter shellac polish. I said that I did not want that, I just wanted clear. Next thing you know the other girl says oh you can just come back Monday to finish. I looked at them and said please remove the polish I'll just leave now. After all was said, I paid for a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was great but done by a different nail tech. The manicure took an hour and a half. It looked terrible and I cannot believe I left paying for it when it looked Worse than when I came in. Did I mention that I left without any polish? Do not recommend and I will never return. I will also advise everyone I know to...
Read moreDefinitely give this salon a try. You will not be sorry. They are by far the best place in the Colorado Springs area! Like other reviewers, my gel mani lasts for 3 weeks. It would last longer if my nails didn't grow so fast. My mani's are done by Andy, or Sammie who are both very knowledgeable professionals. The pedi's I've had were done by Sammi or Nancy and are very good and enjoyable. I particularly enjoy the footrest on the pedi chair so you don't have to hold your leg up in the air while they scrub your soles. Prices are reasonable; the facility in neat and clean; and service is professional and attentive. I have brought my frail 82 year old mom into the salon for a manicure and they were very respectful, careful, and attentive to her needs. She enjoyed her experience very much. My response to Kim's negative posting: in the decades that I've been getting my nails professionally done, I have never seen a product simply peel itself off. I have personally, especially during stressful times at work and at home, picked and peeled the product off my nails. I never blamed the salon or product. It sounds like Andy tried to do the right thing, but you were a bit inflexible. Perhaps you should give them one more try (with...
