Abney’S has the absolute freshest and best seafood in town. The seafood (fish/shrimp) is seasoned and fried to perfection. Crunchy on the outside(not overcooked), and tender on the inside. The staff are also kind and professional as well. One Monday I began to have a serious seafood craving and went to another fish market/restaurant. I admit that they were cheaper and…give you a larger quantity for your $$$$$$. Cheaper is not always better! Needless to say, I ended up throwing the food away. I’ve tried “ALL” of the other locals (BC/ C/ etc…Abney’$ quality is unmatched! !!!!!!! They are untouchable. Every time I go here, I get the same quality and friendliness from the staff. My family members are some “Fish Eating Folks” and we all agree……. First time going to this place in December 2024 and the fish was hot, fresh, and delicious. The only problem was the portion. 1/17/2025 Tonight I went for the second time and most of the fish was stiff and hard. The taste was good but it was not like before. A call was made to let them know but no one answered the phone the couple of times my family called this place. Today was my first time trying and will I say I will be back and Cliftons can’t no more of my money even though they are closer. This place was so clean. I was greeted when I walked in. I picked out some Florida brims and they fried them perfectly I can eat the tail I also got some whiting and they are the fillet right.
