DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Columbus

The gentleman who helped me was ridiculous. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him pants and he didn't ask me what kind or for what purpose. He asked me for size and he then seemed perplexed when I asked him to take my measurements since it had been awhile since I was measured. He then proceeded to try to take my measurements, but the tape kept getting caught on my butt. He then also seemed to be making sounds of disbelief that I could be the size that I am and like he didn't have enough tape to accomplish his task. My wife later told me that there were several feet dangling on the floor. I'm a big guy. I know that, that's why I shop at a big and tall store. But I've seen many bigger men than myself, so I wouldn't consider myself abnormal in the large man community. His attitude was crazy, and then when he finally got the measurement, which was wrong. He looked very doubtful that they would have something that could hold my absolutely enormous girth in his eyes. I embellish, but that is that attitude that he was oozing. My husband and I have shopped here before, about a year ago and we had an uneventful experience. We got what we needed and checked out. But today we walk in, and the sales associate greeted us and watched us like a hawk the entire time we were there. We were looking for an OSU shirt for my husband, and she just stared at us, like we were going to steal from the store. She was very unfriendly, and kept giving us the stink eye the entire time. I felt very uncomfortable and it was not a pleasant experience. We have shopped at a few different casual males, and have had nothing but good things to say about them, but this experience was awful. Kenny road never fails too fail my searching. They call their sales a big and tall shop I did see a few plus size shirts. Then for some reason the people that work there never want to ask me questions, the funny part is I really don't like to be bothered but it's aggravating going to three different stores in the area. And they act like you aren't worth their time. I actually have money on the DXL account about $200 worth I was wanting to try to deal with it I happened to be in the neighborhood for work but I guess I'll just do it online like always or go to Gemini place.....
