So if Marcs, Aldi and Trader Joe’s did a collab you’d get this place!!
The white gentleman with dark hair, wears glasses, maybe about 5’11 or so was talking smack to another store employee about me all because I was in the store taking a plethora of photos to upload on Google.
That’s obviously not very professional but the cashier I had this evening was splendid. She had a very pleasant attitude. I wish I knew her name… my receipt says cashier 22.
Unfortunately, I noticed that one of their refrigerated coolers that holds produce has a very hazardous/terrible leak. That sucks that they have to worry about repairing that and they just opened today.
I wish they’d have more organic produce. Hardly any at all.
As far as pricing there’s a variety of deals that give the discount/bargain savings appeal but also a mix of things that are just as much if not more as their local competitors.
They do carry brands that I’ve never heard of locally or at any of the other box stores around the area. So that may be a plus. And as far as the expiration dates, most things that I picked up expired either this year, next year or a bit later.
No self checkout lanes so I’d imagine some of the older generations or people that prefer human interaction will greatly appreciate that.
They do accept snap/EBT payments!! If you download their app you can receive $5 off a transaction.
This outlet carries a variety of things and I feel like it’ll make a nice addition to the...
Read moreWhere Are the Bargains? Stepping into Grocery Outlet Bargain Market recently, I was immediately struck by its charm. It truly embodies that small-town grocery store feel, with a more intimate layout and a less overwhelming atmosphere than the sprawling supermarkets we often frequent. There's a certain nostalgia to it that I genuinely appreciated, making for a pleasant, unhurried shopping experience. However, where Grocery Outlet unfortunately fell short – and quite dramatically so – was in its selection and, most disappointingly, its pricing. Despite the commercials boldly proclaiming savings of "40-70% cheaper than grocery store prices," my experience was consistently the opposite. Time and again, I found their prices to be 20-30% higher than what I would pay at nearby Kroger or Meijer for comparable items. This was a significant letdown, as the promise of substantial savings was a primary motivator for my visit. While the "bargain market" in their name might suggest a treasure hunt for deeply discounted items, the reality was a limited selection of products, many of which were still priced above competitors. For shoppers accustomed to the vast variety and competitive pricing of larger chains, Grocery Outlet's offerings felt...
Read moreI visited the store on Saturday, 7/12. While the store was clean and organized, I was not impressed with the prices overall, as I did not find many bargains. The items seemed to be priced higher than I had anticipated, which was a bit disappointing.
However, my experience was significantly brightened by my interaction with Ruben, a cashier working at the register next to where I checked out. Ruben's engaging and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression on me. He greeted me warmly and asked if I had found everything I needed, which added a personal touch to my shopping experience. His attentiveness and willingness to assist were commendable. Ruben appeared to be the youngest person working in the store that day, yet he exhibited a level of professionalism and outgoingness that was truly remarkable. His positive attitude and excellent customer service skills made my visit more enjoyable, and I left the store feeling appreciated...
