I’ve been here a handful of times, I love the food. The burgers are so good, same with the onion rings, and I just tried the mac and cheese and it’s pretty good. Although I just had my first disappointing experience. I stood at the register awhile before being served, which I was fine with, then the cashier acted very bored while taking my order, which they were clearly a teen or a very young adult, so I get that, but then when I was finishing my burger I realized it was underdone. It was pretty pink, as far as I know they don’t advertise their burgers to be anything but well-done, they’re pretty thin and I’ve never noticed any pink in the burgers before. Despite this bad experience I will be back, but I would be hesitant to go in the evening. This was just about an hour before they closed

Located inside Fairoaks mall. The burger is greasy and delicious. Just what I remembered from their old location. Grilled onions with a couple pickles to top it off. Wish I would’ve remembered to take a picture of the actual food, sorry, but devoured it. Hey, I did get the menu pictures. It’s a little pricey for just the sandwiches. Combo is a better deal. I also didn’t care for the batter on the onion rings, they tasted burnt to me. But maybe it was just me. The manager made one new one for me to try, not cooked as long. Still didn’t like it, idk why. But they were Very courteous and nice about it. That’s why I still give them five stars. Not sure if they are staying in the desolate mall, thought mall was shutting down soon.

I’ve not eaten meat in over eight years so I never thought I’d be able to experience Lucas Brothers. Yesterday while walking by I noticed they had a veggie burger. I knew I’d be here today for lunch! The guy who took our order was extremely friendly and helpful. I made sure to add the grilled onion to my veggie burger so it was more like the original burger that they are known for. The food was amazing! I told the person I was dining with that it reminded me of a diner I used to eat at when I was a kid back in the 60s and 70s. I will definitely become a regular customer.

I’ve been living in Columbus for 2 years now and I’m wondering what in the “H-E-Double Hockey Sticks” took me so long to try this amazing burger joint out!!!

After a long day at work and heavy rain upon us, I craved a good burger. Not sure what made Lucas Brother’s come to mind…..must have been a long and overdue calling.

Approached the counter and the gentleman greeted me and asked for my order. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I ordered the triple cheese burger (go big or stay home I always say), onion rings and a drink. The burger was taller than any other place I’ve been to. Great value for what you get!

The food is made to order and well worth the wait. Burger was juicy and rings were very flavorful. The gentleman behind the spatula knows what he is doing!

Had a nice discussion with the first gentleman, asking him some info about the place.

It’s locally and family owned. The best!!!

They put all of the other burger places in town to shame! Especially the overpriced and very slow Five Guys. Will never go to that place again as Lucas Brother’s will always be my starter when a burger is my meal choice!

Only negative is its location cause of the major construction going on around the mall, but this place is worth any trouble that may be thrown at you, but not due to Lucas Brother’s.

My hat goes off to you guys and you will be taking my money again really soon!

Thank you! I really...
