Riviera Maya — Restaurant in Columbus

The waiter barely understood us, which is ok but.. I mean.. It's hard to order food when the waiter can't speak English, just saying, not trying to be a jerk. He was very nice though.. Also we were finished eating and had to wait forever to get our check. My husband ended up having to go find the waiter and ask for our check. The food was ok but the menu isn't very easy to read. There aren't enough descriptions or pictures. My 11 year old didnt know what to get. There weren't very many kid friendly things to order. In fact no kids menu at all. But again I love the food there so it's hard to say anything too negative and I know my kid is a picky eater. If they could work on communication and a kid's menu that would be great. I will definitely go there again and definitely recommend it but just... if you have a family keep in mind it may not be so...

have eaten here almost once a week for years and it usually is good - not great, but for a small town in indiana, okay. but, earlier this week, not so good. ordered three chicken enchiladas with poblano sauce. after an eternity (and this is at 11:30 in the morning when the place only has a handful of patrons), food was delivered. it was basically slightly above room temperature - so obviously it had just sat there for a while someplace cooling off while we waited. It also didn't consist of three chicken enchiladas and unless poblanos now come tomato flavored and colored was covered in some other kind of sauce. at least the cashier manned up and knocked off half the price,...

Fantastic food, awesome atmosphere! Consistently quick & clean. Faster than most fast food restaurants. It's undoubtedly the very best 'authentic' Mexican restaurant around. You get really large portion sizes for an affordable price. Everything tastes good & fresh. Great place to have fun & feed the whole family without breaking your wallet. The special dinners such as the Hidalgo Supremo are some of the best deals as they can easily feed 2-3 people for under $20 bucks.
