Rainbow Foods Starmount — Local services in Columbus

On Halloween 2020 I went into this store. I have always went here for their meat prices even after I moved all the way over in phenix city. I spent about $100 dollars on meats from this store. I got home put all the meat in my empty deep freezer. The next morning I woke up to take meat out my freezer and my deep freezer stunk so bad like rotten or spoiled meat. I called rainbow up after I knew they was open and the manager said I could bring everything back I bought. They did have good nice customer service about it but I just want y’all to know to be aware of what you get from there. Nothing had a funky smell until it was frozen. I’m not really sure why this grocery store actually has four stars but based on my experience produce is not good usually going bad before you buy it the meat questionable looks like it has been sitting before It was even put on the shelf. They could use a visit from the county inspector for sure . The woman at the counter literally got on her tippy toes to look over the counter to see if we had put everything on the counter so that it could be scanned even after asking twice if that was everything. Easy for me to insinuate that she suspected we would steal wild to me lol not that deep Why? I don't know who the new owners are of this store, but I will be shopping here for now on. This store is clean, smells good and the employees are nice. They have expanded it by tearing down a wall or two Looks like a kitchen or something will be utilized soon. They now have lottery. My only complaint is they do not have a scale in the produce section. I asked about it, and no one knows where it is. The resolve was to bring what I wanted to the cashier, and she would weigh it.
