A&S TV Repair — Local services in Compton

I'm doing this review from my work location. My name is Shirley. I used Google 3/2/2024 to find a local TV repair in my area and the top 10 came up. I tried about 4 of the numbers and was not able to speak with anyone to get a quote for my 75 inch TV to see if it was worth fixing or if I would have to replace it. I live in the Paramount area of Los Angeles Country and I was able to make contact with Mr. Anthony of A & S TV Repair. He was very polite and answered his phone. Before talking with him I thought I would just purchase a new TV Because I was told some of the newer models don't last as long as others. He advised me to let him take a look at the problem and it may be something that would be able to repair at a lower price. He came to my house and picked the TV up and said he would call me back with the estimate to see if I wanted him to fix. I received a call back about 2 hours later and I couldn't believe the price quote he gave me. So HAPPY with update. He gave me a choice of bringing in the TV of for a charge of $25.00 for fuel he could pick it up. I was within a five mile radius so I requested he pick it up. He advise he would order the parts and when complete he would bring it back. I got a call Monday morning 3/4 at 7:30am and he said he was ready to bring my TV back. Anthony saved me a whole bunch of money to say the least! Looking into the problem through YouTube and google I was made aware of my problem with my 70” Sony Bravia 4K tv which I like very much! A 2018 model year which the LED’s were defective from the factory and only lasted me about 3-4 years until my screen developed a blue tone. Still had an image but it just looked very blue! LED’s needed to be replaced! Anthony was well aware of the problem with those generation tv’s after I explained what the problem was. He quoted me a price for less than $300 including pick up and delivery! Which I thought was awesome! Sony became aware of this problem and updated the LED’s for these tv’s. He ordered the replacement LED’s and now my Bravia looks better than what I can remember from when it was brand new. So if you like your tv and it’s relatively new don’t go out and spend another 1k+ for a new one! By all means just call Anthony! Thanks again Anthony...

I found A&S TV Repair on Yelp. I needed repairs my 50” Hisense Roku TV. The screen went black and after searching up tech support on Google it sounded like the backlights LED was out. Anthony the owner. He was very pleasant and friendly. I told him what the issue was and he said that it sounded like a fixable problem. We scheduled an appointment for him to come to my house for an assessment. He took the TV and said he could have it fixed within 24hrs. He kept his word and had it repaired and working as good as new the very next day.
