My husband and I have been to Louis Burgers on Carson St. two to three times a month for over ten years. Today just set me over the edge. I like to work out problems directly with a companies htq, or owners. This is the first negative review I have ever left. Why? Because the first phone call to the main store said if I wanted the owners email address call back after 5pm. I did, I was told they can’t give out that information. I said, how do I file a complaint? He said he can’t help me with that issue. I couldn’t find any contact information for the owner except a Compton store phone number. You see where that got me. Most of the time we go to the drive through to place an order for lunch. Today, as several times before, I discovered part of the order was missing after my husband brought it home today. We just let it go before… but today, I’ve had enough… It was just an order of fries… Why didn’t he check the bag? My husband asked her to repeat the order, he said she did it correctly. He hates to hold up people waiting in line at the drive through. I posted a picture of the fries we received part were limp and undercooked, and part were small pieces hard as a brick. I noticed they stopped using the seasoning on them too. The tuna sandwich had pieces of pastrami in the wrapper. My egg sandwich “plain” had pieces of lettuce on top of the bread. We never ask for ketchup yet they throw the packets on the exposed French fries. How hygienic is that… Okay, so we call the Carson store before the Compton one. If we want a credit for the fries $7.90 for two orders, plus tax, plus this fee they charge now if you use a credit card of any kind, we have to bring the food back (which makes no sense at all), and bring the credit card back to the store. What about the price of gas? Increased food prices for sub par food. I have never ordered a Cobb salad from them again after finding a fake fingernail in it one time. Never complained either. Really? We never have missing food when Nethia works the drive through. She left for awhile, but has since returned. A great employee they should reward. Anyway, that’s my rant. There are plenty of food establishments along Carson St. we can eat at. So long...

Read moreI’ve been coming to this place every two weeks for years and would have rated it 5 stars in the past. Unfortunately, over the last three months, the quality has declined. I’m not sure if it’s due to new cooks or other changes, but it’s noticeable.
For example, they used to season the fries with seasoned salt when I ordered chili cheese fries, but now the fries are plain. The ranch for the zucchini has also changed, and last time, the zucchini was soggy and stuck together—something that’s never happened before. I also loved their horchata because it tasted authentic, but now it seems like they’ve changed the machine, and it doesn’t taste fresh anymore.
On top of the declining quality, the prices keep going up, which is disappointing. I hope management reads this and takes steps to address these issues. I’ve been a loyal customer since childhood, but if things don’t improve, I’ll have to look for a new spot.
Please train the newer staff to uphold the quality and service that made this place great. Some of them have been rude, and that’s not what loyal customers deserve. I’m giving this place another chance, but I hope they can return to their...
