In January I rented a unit. Paid the 1st month discount, paid the next 2 months no issue, I get an approaching due date reminder, but notice it's a dollar more. I email Paul to inquire about this charge. He responds its a Kure donation. I asked what is this, he responded, "The Kure it coupon was attached to your account when receiving a discount when you first started the donation to our Cancer Research $1.00 a month." I then told him I don't remember agreeing to this, please direct me to where it says this in my contract. I received no response until I sent him another email 6 days later. He responded, "As I stated in my last e-mail if you received a discount, you were automatically enrolled in the $ 1.00 Kure it donation." But as you can see he did not reference where in my agreement it was. He then responded, "It doesn't state it in the contract if you wanted the discount then a donation needed to be made if you wish to opt out of the discount then you will be responsible to pay back the 25% off we gave you on the account. It's called the Kure it coupon you donate 1.00 and we gave you 25% off your rent. I have been going back and forth with Paul with no resolve. I requested a manager and Paul said the DM was too busy to deal with this matter. I reached out via online through their main page but haven't even received an acknowledgement. Bottom line is if I agreed to this Kure donation I would be ok; however they automatically started charging me for this without notifying me(it doesn't matter the amount) and when I inquired instead of understanding my position Paul says I can opt out and be charged the 25%, without answering when and where was this donation explained and agreed upon? As the customer I cannot change the terms of the contract. The fact that Paul states its how we got the discount, it should be in the contract clearly not just added. I haven't paid this month waiting on a response from whomever my email went to but it seems like they don't think this matter is important even though there is legal ramifications. I would suggest you ask about any charges on the contract and that aren't but who wants to deal with a business who doesn't put all the charges and fees and how the discounts are given clearly stated on a contract.

Update 4/30/25. As you can see someone responded to my review. I just saw this yesterday and have forwarded the email thread to the email they provided, no response as of this update but I have received notice that my rent will be increasing🤨😑 No reason for this to happen, facility is still the same door still has an issue and the automatic doors almost crushed me yesterday, as if the sensor is faulty. Read moreEverything leading up to the leasing of the storage was great, the main issue was my code not working properly, it granted me access to the building but not my floor I was on. After contacting the front desk i went to the back and the first guy entered his code and he explained ‘ see it works ‘ . So I enter my code and it doesn’t work. I was already stretched for time so I unlocked my unit and went downstairs to retrieve items to place into storage and I can’t gain access again after being told it was being fixed. I go to the office a second time and a young woman helped and she uses my code and it doesn’t work after many attempts. So she lets me use her code and comes back telling me I’m entering the wrong floor so it’s not working so we try again and I show her what I’m doing that isn’t working . She finally goes and fixes the code. So after a hour it finally starts working. Just a bad first experience.
9/29/25 I just Wanted to edit my review to give a much praise to the young lady that helped me out today and help me with paying next months lease. I seen how passionate they were about Their job and how discouraging or disheartened They were by my two star review. My intent was never to antagonize or bring down anyone’s morale. Me being a business owner and seen the passion they have for their place of employment made me reconsider. Maybe I was having a bad day that day.
