When we learned about this place we were like; "Finally an organic family market in Compton..Yay!"...But wait a minute..... Been there four times already; thought we were just unlucky but thinking back this is our personal experience: The First time we were there with my husband browsing and buying some stuff noticed a couple of kids grabbing some fruit samples (they were in a toothpick, no big deal) but the salesperson was so rude and told them to go away, honestly I think she could have told them to grab a couple and get their parents if they wanted more but she was very rude with them, it broke my heart to see them walk away with their heads down, but fine, her business to take care of.. Second time there my husband wanted some grapes, since they were organic they were about 4.00 a pound which we totally understand, he asked to get certain bunch and the salesperson said they were all the same and refused to sell him what he wanted. Third time was actually ok, the fruit is definitely top quality but very pricey. We bought several items and they were all fresh and delicious. Fourth time my husband was a little late, they close at 2pm and he was busy so he arrived at ROUND 1.45pm and tried to buy some fruit, the salesperson told him sale was over, he was not even picking up his merchandise yet and when my husband asked him if he could buy something right quick he raised his voice and said "I told you I am closed!". Fruit is fresh, organic and delicious but this is in no way a friendly place, the sellers have a really bad attitude; they are not considerate to kids or adults. I'd rather go...

So, I did some research. Turns out inflammatory foods (like certain flours) should be avoided. I went to the Watts Willowbrook Farmers Market on 3-27-24 and the Pupusas Vendor was gracious and very accommodating! I requested the Pupusa Breakfast (minus the Pupusa 😥) and feast your eyes on the pic! I urge you all to take your health by the horns and do what is best for YOU! Only YOU know your body better than any doctor or medical gizmo! There is so much more to add here, but I only have so much space!...

There is a pre-made food vendor if you're hungry and just want a bite to eat. You can't get blood oranges anywhere else in the area, and they have good produce, I like the strawberries a lot. There is no meat or dairy, however, only eggs. I was surprised to see one gentleman selling sprouts, they were pretty good. Oh! Everyone gives...
