I’ve been a client of this CVS store and pharmacy for 15 years, and I consistently see that the staff at the pharmacy is not helpful nor they have a good attitude towards clients. But I never wrote a bad review before. It’s the closest CVS to my home and I go there often, so I am cordial and friendly with the workers there, I generally let things slide to avoid conflict. But today I had it! (I’d like to add that the people working at the general store area, and store registers. On the other hand are very helpful and nice -albeit understaffed). Today I arrived at the pharmacy directly from the urgent care, with my sick daughter on tow. She was prescribed an antibiotic. There was a line of 3 people when I arrived, and another person arrived behind me. While I was waiting in line, I let the person behind me take my place, to run to the next aisle over for some other -over the counter- medicine I needed for my daughter. I approached the counter after the client (the one I had let take my place) finished, and the pharmacist saw me and shut the blinds in front of my face, saying that it was 1:30 and they were closing until 2:00. I was standing right there and I had let the person behind me take my place! The pharmacist saw me and still shut the curtain tight in front of me. I explained that I was in line, to what he rudely responded “you were not!!!” And to “come back after 2:00!”! But I was! And I was right there, since before he took care of the other person, and he saw me! So I told him “you can’t do that to people!” , and that I had my sick daughter (she is 14) waiting in the car. Do you think the guy cared at all? I want to say I was surprised, but coming from this particular person, I was not really. I had seen him being rude to other people before. I got mad and told him that he sucked (sorry to have to say that, but yes, he does). Not only the fact that he closed the curtain on my face, but the bad attitude with which he addressed the situation, like there was nothing he could have done about it, and that’s it! but he could, and he should have. I had to come back to the pharmacy later (which implied a lot at that moment, because of how sick my daughter was feeling), when they could have given me the 60 seconds that I deserved of their time when I was already there. But who cared, right? And by the way, I understand that workers need their lunch time, but when there are clients there, they can’t shut the curtain in their face; and if this becomes a problem, they should take rotative/consecutive turns for lunch so they don’t need to close. So, Management, you have some work to...
Read moreThere is no service here. Received two texts to pick up medication, on first one went to pick it up,.... not there, when I received second text went that day..... not there. I said why are they telling me to come in when there is nothing to pick up yet. They said it was corporate sending those texts, they are not connected to them. I said it is also on the website. Also stated they have nothing to do with that. I said how will I know when to come in then, they said you will get a text, I said you just told me I cannot believe those texts, or the website. Now they are telling me they want to get in touch with my Dr, and they are not calling CVS back, as CVS wants to change my medication. I said you are not a Dr. you have no right to waste more of my time, my Dr's valuable time, making such a call. When I am convinced that my Dr. knowingly operates so much better then anyone behind this counter. They need to fire them all and start a knew. Never seen so much disfunction and poor attitude in my life. Who knows what other mistakes they are making here, when they cannot even execute a straight...
Read moreI feel generous giving this CVS even 2 stars out of 5. I generally don't spend much time purchasing anything other than my medications (as a type 1 diabetic) here. With that said, almost every time I've gone to pick up my medication, there is either some discrepancy between the prescription status texts I receive on my phone (or through the CVS website) and the availability of said prescription at the pharmacy. I've been told on more than one occasion that they have "no record of that medication coming in" despite text and website confirmation on their website. And even when all else is set on their end (which is not often), I always receive some sort of blase or uncaring attitude about my predicament. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs here need to be better trained to understand the necessity of medications for certain conditions, as if I go even a day without them, I could die (or at best, end up in the hospital ICU fighting for my life). Do better CVS. Have some empathy. It's not...
