I really don’t like giving bad reviews, but I do this in hopes of this Starbucks location making significant improvements from this constructive feedback.
We regularly frequent this Starbucks, not because it’s the best option in town (it’s definitely not), but because my kids love the croissants. Almost EVERY time I place an online order, the staff is so backed up and slow that I’m standing there waiting for up to 15 minutes for a basic croissant and sometimes an iced coffee - nothing that requires a lot of time.
This location is always understaffed, but those that are working there are typically unfriendly, and sometimes rude. They are very slow, usually disorganized and just chatting amongst themselves while lives of customers are waiting for their items. Most of the time the cashier is also doubling as the food orders person and this always puts them way behind.
They are typically out of items, opened boxes are in the customer area, and not taken care of, and the eat-in area is always messy, and doesn’t look cleaned.
The parking is a whole issue on its own. There’s around 10 spaces in a very tight lot and off a busy street. There’s almost always a line of cars on Thoreau street just waiting to get into the lot. It’s a mess.
The manager really needs to get this place in order. I’ve been to so many Starbucks, and this is by far...
Read moreUsually I have an ok experience at this location. Perhaps it was just the timing of my visit but it was pretty bad… My coffee did not taste right, for a shaken espresso it had very little milk. I had ordered a sandwich, and waited 15-20 minutes. When I received it with my name, correct sticker. I walked out the door and drove down the street. At a quick glance. It looked like a sandwich, but when I opened it and saw it was a bagel. I made a quick u-turn parked in the ridiculous parking lot, went up to the cash register and explained I had received the wrong item. He asked no questions saw it had two stickers on top of another on it, he asked if this wasn’t what I ordered. Showing the bottom sticker… no as my sticker was directly on top. He took the bagel that I touched and opened back to the pickup area….I waited another 5 minutes for them to heat the sandwich I had ordered. Back in the day, Starbucks would honor their customers much better and offer a free item coupon for next time. Makes me think twice before ordering from this...
Read moreThe store itself is fine, normal Starbucks; However, parking is rediculous:
Tight, small lot, and every single space has a sign saying "15 minute parking for Starbucks Customers Only" - except for the couple spaces reserved for the dry cleaning/tailoring business, and the one handicap space, which is really 1/2 a space, due to how the sidewalk ramp extends into the space (so if you pull fully into the space your left front tire will be several inches higher, which is real great for a handicapped person).
This Starbucks ought to throw out their seating, if you're not supposed to stay over 15 minutes. What about if the line happened to be long?
My point is, they should take the "15 minutes" off the signs, which should just say "Starbucks Customers Only." Hopefully the 15 minutes is not strictly enforced, in which case all the more reason to...
