My wife and I drove over from Russellville which made for our first time stepping foot in this store. We were greeted by a nice young lady as soon as we walked in. That same lady checked on us multiple times during our time there as well. A few things we noticed while looking around was the great selection of items compared to similar big name stores in our area that I had shopped at that same day and prices were competitive. As we found things we wanted to purchase that lady that had been helping us all along started us a little pile at the front desk so we wouldn’t have to lug stuff around. Once we were ready to check out she took care of all of that and we went about our way. My wife and I both agreed once we made it to our rig that we would be back based on what we had just experienced. (Note I had been to three other local competitors that same day and my experience at those were okay but nothing like this) Well the next day I received a facebook message from a different lady that worked there. She said when they were auditing the tickets from the days sales that a mistake had been found and that I was overcharged on my purchase. Well I had bought multiple things and I had not noticed it, so I called the lady she had asked for me to contact that next day. Sure enough that lady admitted to their honest mistake and I gave my card info and the reimbursement was in my account a business day later. She apologized multiple times for that ladies mistake and was nothing but nice and helpful. Come to find out the young lady that had been so nice and helpful was new but I sure wouldn’t had know it by the way she took care of us that day. I truly believe she probably won’t let that happen again just by how she treated us that day. She cared and was kind. That's hard to find in an employee these days. So with that all being said a store that’s clean, organized, helpful, kind, competitively priced and HONEST well that’s a place that we will...
Read moreFirst off I’d like to say that as a business owner of multiple successful businesses I’d like to say that I felt singled out and discriminated against by the staff at this establishment. I came into the shore a few hours before my show in Conway to get a couple outfits for my weekend and I had a buggy. I was walking around with my wife and daughter and while I was shopping the girl working asked if I needed anything and I replied no. A few minutes later she approached me again and asked if she could help me and I told her no thank you I am just shopping. She asked if I would like for her to take the things out of my buggy and take them to the Register, I replied no thank you. She asked me again, and then said that she needed to take them out of my cart and that I could still use the cart to continue my shopping. I stood by the register until my wife and daughter were finished looking and when I was ready to checkout I asked the lady why was I singled out and her response was that the girl is new and that’s how they do things. There was a customer walking by with a stack of cloths and I asked her why they haven’t gotten his items to help him out, because I clearly didn’t have a problem pushing my cart and I was demanded to give my items to them and she didn’t have an answer. She assured me that I wasn’t being singled out and kept making excuses as to why they did this to me. I did NOT ours chase my items and I will Never be back. I gave them my business card and told them that I didn’t have to steal anything. I was just a customer trying to shop. I don’t demand respect, but I refuse to be...
Read moreI looked up a certain cowboy hat I liked on Cavender's website and wanted to check it out in person. I went to their newest location, Conway, AR to look at it. The inventory of hats at that location is large but the particular hat I wanted to look at was not there. They have a lot of straw hats at the back of the store and several felt hats there as well. I looked all over but didn't find the one I wanted. All the while I was in the store, I saw no one I thought worked there. No one came up to me to provide assistance, there was no one to greet customers when they entered or left the store, and no one to help locate any product. I only saw two customers and no employees during my visit. This is not the Cavender's I came to know in Tulsa. I probably won't be back to this location again. I did order my hat on line and it will be delivered to my...
