Walker's True Value Hardware — Local services in Conway

I've been to Walker's True Value 4 times in the last month since moving to Conway. Brings back fond memories of what a true local hardware store actually is, not a big box like Lowes or Home Depot. When you walk in you are greeted, usually someone will ask what you need and then off you go, walking down the isles of a "true hardware store". Where every thing you can imagine is on a shelf. Each time I have been in I have been helped to find what I need, treated courteously, and then treated wonderfully by the clerks behind the check out counter. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Convience with a fair price. During Hurricane Florence and the eventual flooding that followed, in September 2018, True Value was there during preparation and I the aftermath to make sure that our community had everything that was needed to take care of their homes and families. Have been shopping here since they opened the store. The service has always been exceptional and friendly. Their prices are competitive for a local hardware store, not comparing to the “big box” hardware stores. If you are looking for a local Conway merchant then this is the place where you will find excellent and cordial help finding what you need.
