Grow It Land Designs and Garden Center — Local services in Coppell

We had 3 companies quote our job, and all 3 were in line with each other. We went with Grow it becuase of their reputation here in Coppell, even though the wait time would be the longest. It was well worth the wait. Originally we were just going to have them do our backyard: take out the old and dead shrubs/plants and replace. But during the wait time we also decided to have work done all around the house and we are so glad we did. Jana was amazing. She had ideas that looked better and in at least one case saved some money. She also gave us some options such as the boarder of the flower beds. She came each morning and "walked the yard" with us to go over things and would check how the crew did each afternoon. She put in plants that were varied and she did not crowed them, so they have room to grow and look good now, and will continue to as the years go by. Javier and his crew were also wonderful. They fixed drainage issues and actually put a lot of thought into each step of the project. Our project grew some more. We had an old brick flower bed against they house that was in bad shape that we had Grow it tear out and replace with a lovely stone version that matched the coping around our pool. They pulled out and replaced all the dirt in the flower beds which made a HUGE difference. Before we had a lot of weeds and "mystery plants" that came up. This has lowered the maintenance and the plants are loving it. They also check the watering system to make sure your plants are getting the water they need. They ended up doing our project right before a big freeze this past winter and they covered all the plants. A few did not make it, but they have come back and replaced these. One thing to note: the original quote was (of course) an estimate and did have some items that had to be determined (like the drainage) as they got into the project, which was pointed out to us so it was not a suprise, but I would make sure you have some extra budgeted for such things. I cannot recommend Grow It Land Designs enough! From start to finish, our experience was great! Sandra and Dan were fantastic to work with—they really took the time to listen to our vision and turned it into reality. It was a big project and we were searching for a creative partner that could turn our large yard into an inviting and relaxing space. We wanted the feel of Colorado, with lots of big boulders, river rock, plenty of trees and plants, and a water feature! Sandra was on-site daily, sometimes even twice a day, ensuring everything was progressing as planned. She was always available to answer our questions, and we truly felt heard whenever we shared what we liked or didn’t like.

The installation crew was incredibly professional, always on time, and made sure to clean up thoroughly at the end of each day. It was clear that everyone on the team took great pride in their work. The owner also visited multiple times to make sure the creative vision we had was coming together perfectly.

We are so pleased with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grow It Land Designs to our friends and family. We can’t say enough about how much we love what they have done to our front and back yard.

There was such a transformation in the back that it’s hard to describe. We thought we had a decent backyard, just needed a little something. Grow It had landscaped our front yard and we knew they would do an equally fantastic job in the back. We didn’t have many requirements, we wanted low maintenance and a place for the bird feeder and bird bath. We didn’t realize how much It was overgrown with vines, plain, boring and really a bit depressing looking back.

We now spend hours sitting outside enjoying the view, walking around the yard, the birds love their new sanctuary and we even have a pair of ducks that visit. We could never have envisioned what Grow It was able to accomplish in the space of our backyard. They combined plants with various types of stone and rock and turned it into a haven for us and wildlife. We entertain more and our neighbors are equally excited as it improved their views as well. We still get compliments on our front yard after 3 years and we know we will continue receiving praises on the work done in the back yard.
