I have been to this dealership for service multiple times and has always been a good experience! I was in for service this past week and wanted to test drive the exact car I wanted! I had already been inquiring with Huffines Subaru about trading in my 2019 forester. Liberty made the entire process super smooth and was very accommodating as I had my 3 month old daughter with me for the test drive. They held the car for me till the next day so I could discuss everything with my wife. I got her on board and we went back and did the deal the next day! Everything was super smooth for the deal as well. They helped me out financially in a few areas and gave me more for my trade they initially estimated online! Super happy with my experience! If you want a Subaru GO TO HUFFINES! They treat you like family.

He's very knowledgeable and personable and even looked after our pup while we were taking care of other business. Service: We've been coming to Huffines for around seven years for service on our previous vehicle and have always been pleased with the transparency and pricing of the service we received. The parts department is also fantastic, and have been able to get the parts I need for my own service. This is a wonderful, dog-friendly (they have beds, bowl, and even a tag engraver!) dealership that we plan to continue to visit in the future.

Wonderful overall experience! No pressure. The only dealership I went to that put me in a car to test drive within 10 minutes of my arrival. Made me feel like a friend afterwards when they took me around to meet department heads. I will enjoy going back there for my warranty check-ups. My sales person, Daniel, was very low-keyed and readily available for questions. And he had all the answers; didn't have to go ask the manager like at other dealerships! Looking for an actual no-hassle dealership that WON’T peer pressure you into extras you don’t want or need? How about sales team that LOVES DOGS and ACTUALLY cares about YOU? Well, look no further than Huffines Subaru in Corinth!

I’d been in the market for a Subaru for a while, but have had nothing but absolutely atrocious experiences at other dealerships in the DFW. But last week, on the advice of a friend, I contacted TREY MEADOR 🤘 at Huffines Subaru. Trey used to be a middle school principal, and boy does he embody those vibes to a T. He’s extremely laid back, friendly, and genuinely wants to help you find your perfect vehicle—even if it’s not with him.

I told him I was in the market for a Crosstrek and planned to trade-in my Trailblazer, so we set up a time on Wednesday for a test drive. I showed up, we talked trims, and I ended up test driving a Crosstrek Sport. I loved it, and I was ready to make a deal. We went over the numbers, but I felt like I needed a bit more time on my own to go over everything (tbh I’m terrible at math and get overwhelmed easily). In similar situations, other salespeople would pull all sorts of tricks to keep me there, wasting my time—but not Trey. He totally understood. He just asked if I’d meet his manager, Tim Spencer 🤠, before I left, and promised it wasn’t a ploy to keep me there longer than I wanted. I agreed, and was pleasantly surprised. Tim’s probably the most jovial sales manager I’ve ever met. And he DID keep it short (literally, maybe 3 minutes), gave me his cell number and promised if there was anything he could do to make this work for me, he’d do it.

The next day, I ended up getting a higher trade-in value from Carvana, and texted Trey to let him know I planned to trade with them, then come back to Huffines for a Subaru. He asked for a few minutes to check with Tim, and about 20 minutes later, Tim called me. He said he’d called their Chevy dealership and were able to give me the same trade-in deal as Carvana—which saved me a trip, and probably another headache. We talked a bit more, and I told Tim exactly what I was looking for in a Crosstrek, down to the color. They didn’t have that vehicle on their lot, BUT Tim was able to find one at another dealership and had it transferred over.

By Saturday, I was back at Huffines (with my dog!), test driving my dream car. Seriously, this car had everything I wanted, but assumed I’d have to compromise—I was ecstatic. When I got back, Trey introduced me to Heather Pietila, my dedicated service advisor 💅, and we even got my first service scheduled. After that, he introduced me to Ben Frazer, the finance manager 🤑, and this is typically the part of the story where things get stressful and annoying—but not this time. Ben was yet another, extremely helpful (and hilarious) member of the Huffines Subaru family. I let him know that I’d already been pre-approved for some financing through my bank, but he was able to get me a better rate, for a higher amount—saving me cash and interest. He’d already had the paperwork printed out, so we were able to go over the costs and warranties quickly, and when he showed me my monthly payment amount, I almost didn’t believe it. I even asked him if that was just the amount for the add-ons, and he said, “Nope, this is your total monthly car payment. Not a penny more.”

So, when I tell you this was the smoothest vehicle purchasing experience of my life, I mean it. Pretty sure I was there for something like 1.5 hours, but I really have no idea—BECAUSE I LOST TRACK OF TIME. The financing segment, alone, took less than 20 minutes. And honestly, the majority of my time was spent asking Trey questions, instead of the other way around. On top of all of that, they had plenty of dog beds, treats, and space for my dog to feel comfortable.

To: Trey, Tim, Ben, Heather: Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me—y’all made me (and my dog) feel comfortable, appreciated, and (as cheesy as it is) like part of the family. Y’all...

*note there is a reason the owner is responding to other reviews and not this one. They have done nothing to remedy the situation, or even tried. Customers are not a priority.

I really do want to caution people before buying from this dealership.

My husband and I had such a frustrating experience trying to buy a car here.

On Christmas Eve, we went to go look at a car here. Later that day, we called the salesperson and said we were really interested in buying the car. It was 30 minutes before closing, so understandably he said he would call us the morning after Christmas.

At 11 AM the day after Christmas, we hadn't heard from him, so we called the dealership. We were told the car was still available and to wait for the salesperson we worked with to call. He called soon after, said he wasn't in yet but would call in a couple of hours. Later, he called back, said our car was ready for us and the keys were on his desk. In case you want to skip ahead - this wasn’t true. Our car was not ready for us.

When arriving (20 minutes later), we were told another couple was already in the process of buying the car. The keys were still on our salesperson’s desk, and we had to wait over an hour just sitting in an office (why in the world did they keep us there so long and waste our time). Finally, the manager came out and said the other couple was getting the car. He didn’t apologize much, just said, “Sometimes these things happen.”

What upset us the most is that we were ready to be there first thing in the morning to buy the car, but the dealership literally told us to wait for the salesperson we worked with. No one said, "He's not here, but come on in and we'll take care of you." We didn't think twice about this because I understood that everyone wanted to respect the salesperson we had worked with, including us. And again, why waste our time? Just say the car isn’t yours anymore and let us go on with our day.

In hindsight, we realize we should have gone in without waiting, but this was only our second time buying from a dealership, so we’re still learning.

It’s one thing if we were told the car was sold when we called the day after Christmas, but we called, got confirmation that car was available and we were told to wait until our salesperson came in. I think a policy change on these types of calls should be highly considered.

The dealer needs to assume some fault here. Yes, the car wasn’t ours until money was down, but the dealer could have had us come right in when we called and do the paperwork, and the original salesperson could’ve still got his share of commission. It’s not like someone needed to convince us. The sales part was done.

No one cared at all after wasting so much of our time and that was clear. Please consider taking your business elsewhere, to a place that cares...

After an exhausting & frustrating search for a safe and reliable vehicle for my daughter to take to college, I found exactly what I was looking for at Huffines Subaru. I submitted an inquiry and credit pre-approval online after hours and then arrived at the dealership soon after they opened in the morning.

I was greeted promptly by Trey Meador. Trey is extremely friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the products he sells. I told Trey I was interested in the 2020 certified pre-owned Impreza they had advertised. He happily gave me the keys to take the vehicle for a test drive and had all the information about the vehicle ready when I returned.

Trey explained that the advertised price was the sale price of the vehicle and there would be no hidden fees or dealer add-ons which was refreshing after being jerked around at several other DFW- area dealerships. We indicated we wanted to purchase the vehicle and Trey introduced us to Ashton May in Finance.

Ashton was equally friendly and personable. Absolutely zero pressure to purchase any add-ons and was upfront with the cost of the extended warranty when I inquired. Ashton also indicated that he was also able to secure a much lower interest rate than I was quoted online (800+ credit). The rate he secured is lower than any currently published rates, so that was an added bonus.

Total time from entering the dealership to driving away was just over an hour & a half. However, a good portion of that time was due to the service department touching up & buffing out some scratches that were visible on the rear passenger door. Trey indicated they were going to perform that repair included with purchase, I didn’t even have to ask. To be honest they weren’t even that noticeable, but great service repairing those on a used car.

This was my 35th vehicle purchase over the years, and chalks up as one of the easiest and most stress free of them all. I strongly recommend Trey Meador, Ashton May, and Huffines Subaru. The best part was seeing the smile and excitement when my daughter was surprised with her new Subaru!

Want to update and add to my review. Just a few months ago my brother-in-law was looking to purchase his first new vehicle. He decided to check out Subarus, and I immediately reached out to Trey again. Trey met us at the dealership, on his day off, to show my BIL a few vehicles. My BIL decided to purchase a '23 Subaru Cross-trek, and being his first major purchase was extremely nervous. Trey & the staff at Huffines made the transaction so seamless for him.
