This place is normally the wife's and I favorite take-out spot. I should have known from the moment I walked in. The wife places our order through grubhub, based of the app we were notified of the approximate pick up time. We get notified about 5 minutes before our arrival that our order was ready for pick-up. I walk in and was not even greeted just asked about dine-in or pick-up. I tell the young lady behind the counter that I'm picking up an order the wife placed through grubhub and asked for her name I give the wife's info and was told it would be ready shortly.

I stand back from the counter and then see the owner walk out of the office (which is located off the kitchen) and she begins prepping my dishes to hand to the cook. The cook prepares all 5 of my dishes, which consisted of a basil fried rice (level 3 spice), orange chicken (level 5 spice) pad see ew (level 2 spice) which was ordered for my stepdaughter who is just building up her spice tolerance, wife and I both ordered pad kee mow (spice level 4 for her and spice level 5 for me) I drive home anxiously awaiting one of my favorite Thai dishes.

I tear open the bag hand out the appropriate dishes to the family. I grab my plate and fork dish out a portion of said pad kee mow, and fried rice here. I should have known by the lack of nasal stimuli that there was literally zero spice in my dishes. I thought we'll maybe I'm just tonexcited to partake in my food that I just missed it. Well wouldn't you know, I take a bite of fried rice with absolute disappointment then a bite of pad kee mow and more disappointment.

I step away from the table and immediately call and am explain my disappointment to the young lady that answers the phone. I am basically told that the blame lies on their supplier of chilies has provided them with a order of lackluster chili both fresh and flake. I explain mine and my families disappointment in lack of spice in all our dishes, only to be told oh well. I basically tell her that it would be nice if we were notified of the lack of spice either offered to sell us more flake or fresh chili pepper to compensate for mild chili or just offer the opportunity to return and pick some up. We then exchange about 5 minutes of dialog without a resolution. I then ask what time the owner or manager would be in tomorrow so that I can take the matter up with her. The young lady finally says we'll she's available if you'd like to speak with her, I then tell the youngblady that I'd rather speak with her in person tomorrow as I will not delay dinner with my family any longer. Luckily I had some Korean chili flake and Sriracha to help make up for mild food.

TLDR: Ordered spicy food and was disappointed. Owner / manger could take a trip to the store to acquire ingredients to supplement mild chili's from their supplier. We could have ordered from Panda Express with the same result, but YMMV. Good luck!!

I will update this review after my discussion with the manager / owner tomorrow afternoon. Pictures show we are willing to pay...

So disappointed with the customer service! I’ve been coming here for a while now and the service seems to be going down hill. Long story short…they messed up my previous order and wanted me to drive back to the store to return it (in the rain). I asked for a manager and was told they would call me back. I waited approximately 3 hours for them to call me back and according to the cashier, the manager said that they don’t issue refunds but agreed to give me “credit on my next order” compensation for the incorrect item I received. Well, today placed an order but I didn’t order the same thing. When I asked about the credit, the cashier said that I had to order the same thing in order to get the credit. That’s not what I was originally told and feel like I was forced to ordering something I didn’t want. This is unacceptable and surely not customer friendly. You messed up my original order so the credit should have been issued regardless of what I ordered…as long as I ordered something.. It’s the principle! Treat your customers the way that you would like to be treated! Signed one...

I ordered the following off Doordash today: Beef pho 0 spice and 1 thai tea. I noticed this place was new on Doordash and thought I'd try because I really love pho. I did not see the restaurant itself so I cannot speak for that. I will say after today's lunch, I really want to go to the restaurant. Pho: Came with some meatballs and cooked beef in a broth in it's own container. Noodles and veggies were in their own container. Great way to package this item to go. The broth on its own was extremely flavorful and some of the best pho broth I've had! The meat might've cooked a bit extra sitting in the broth, but it was still very tasty! The veggies were fresh and plentiful. I will say I think it would've been nice if there was a little side of hoisin like it is at a nearby pho place. However, it was still good on it's own. Thai tea: Classic delicious thai tea that came in it's own bag. Was delicious and not watered down.

I look forward to trying more items and...

We placed our order to-go before they got busy. Waited 40 minutes for food as they either forgot to make it or forgot to bring it out. Everything is extremely watery and soup-like. We ordered the orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. Each dish had 5-6 pieces of chicken and everything else was watery sauce. Chicken was soggy in texture. The largest disappointment was the black rice pudding as it was 90% liquid and 10% rice, which is grainy in texture. The liquid tastes like a non-alcoholic version of Bailey’s. Paid way too much for food that leaves you hungry after eating it. Assistant manager was polite on the phone and staff at the front was very pleasant.

The foods come in very small portions but the display looks great! Their sticky rice has hard, clumped pieces of it. The curry noodle tastes good but plain with no bamboo, no egg plant, no quail egg, not even a carrot/potato/pea is in it. Papaya salad tastes stale like it has been frozen. The Thai tea has a slight bitterness taste to it and colored my whole mouth to orange. Recommended for newbies to SE Asian cuisine and should be called "Intro Bite to Lao and Thai" instead lol. I don't really like the high chair and table and how there's no music inside but hostess seems nice.
