I bought a very heavy sofa sleeper that I needed delivered to my granddaughters upstairs apartment. Jason and Michael were the 2 delivery men who delivered it. They busted their butts not only getting the sofa in my house, but then upstairs to the girls apartment. It took them 45 minutes to get it in, because my house has narrow doorways, and then up the steep stairs. They took great care to insure that neither the door frames, nor the sofa were damaged. They were very polite, conscientious and professional. They deserve a huge raise!!! Please remember to tip your delivery men. This is hard work! And, despite what people believe, they do not get any of the delivery charge. Highly recommend Cornelia Farmers Furniture. We placed our order for furniture in early March, and we were told that it would take 2 weeks for the warehouse to get it in stock. When it was time for the furniture to be delivered, they told us we were lying about what they had said, but they would give us the mattress. They also said at that time that the furniture would be delivered around April 16. They still do not have all of our furniture, and are saying it won’t be until the April 28, at least, that we get the rest. On top of everything, even though we paid the fee for delivery and installation, we still had to go and pick up the little furniture they did have, and we now have to install it ourselves. To tell the truth I was a little offended at the suave fare attitude that this transaction smelled of.
