I enjoy going to Spring Garden for a while and I believe I enjoy it for 2-3 years, from my last visit yesterday, the waitress already know what we want to drink, she kindly say “ two sweet tea “ and I replied nicely, “yes”. I often eat there with both of my parents or my mom or dad. I was very impressed of how the waitress still remember me and my dad since I was always nice to the waitress. I often clean after myself like food bites on the table, but since the waitress has always been nice to me, I share a little of love and try to my table clean, that way the waitress would not struggle to clean after me and I always reply “ thank you “. Both waitress ARE VERY KIND, one take my plate and the other refills my tea. After eating we went to pay and the price is at a better position ( $ 10 , $ 11 with shrimp). My dad give the waitress ( in charge of the cashier ) a $1 tip and SHE STILL SAY THANK YOU 😭. But I was a little disappointed at both my mom and dad for every time they offer a tip is little than $1. But since my parents pay the food, I could not do nothing, but later in the future, when I pay the food, I will tip them a $5 tip but when I have enough money I offer them $ 10 tip. So community, they might respect you IF YOU RESPECT THEM AND SHOW CARE FOR YOUR WAITRESS NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT MAYBE 7...
Read moreI've eaten at this restaurant a few times, was not all that great, so I decided to give it another chance seeing I was craving something different...I came here to leave a remark about what I thought of the food and here I am leaving a remark to the owners comments to HIS/HER customers....I'm at a loss for words. You show your passion and your character through the things you do, even if it is running a restaurant or something completely different and to read a comment from the OWNER towards someone who was leaving constructive criticism about an unclean bathroom and PAID money to eat at your establishment all to fall upon deaf eyes and ears...is just unreal. If you don't care that much for someone who is looking to try something new or to venture out of their comfort zone to experience something new then you are in the wrong business. You SERVE your guests with smiles and laughter and grace them with your character, and passion by what you bring to them or their families through your food. I will never recommend anyone to eat at such a place and I hope you truly understand...
Read moreWorse meal I've had in a long time! It's been 5 years since we've been here. We stopped because it was so run down and unclean. So we thought maybe they had cleaned up the place. They had taken out the nasty carpet and put down new flooring and rearranged the soups but we're using household crock pots and a rice steamer with duct tape holding the lid together. Not sure what the slimy looking meat was in the broccoli/chicken but it was not fresh chicken. The sesame chicken was some unnatural color of red. The fried chicken and the crab rangoons were the only thing edable. Walls had not been cleaned lately. Had stains running down the wall. The large Chinese picture is the same one that's been there for years and had stuff splattered on it along with spiderwebs along the rails. It was not posted anywhere the health dept inspection numbers restaurants are supposed to display. If anyone is doing their job this place would be shut down. Looking for my charcoal tablets in case of food poisoning. Will not be...
