Many, many years ago in the late 60's and 70's myself and my late husband use to take some of the nicest car rides along "the Strand." In fact he and I were married in Coronado in '74. I even worked for the Coronado Planning Department in a building across from the beach area with a dear friend for a short period of time. We use to be able to see the Navy Seals train behind our building on the sand.. Great, great memories of that area. I hope that this current situation of pollution can be resolved much...
