Del Mar College Oso Creek Campus — Local services in Corpus Christi

I had the worst experience at this campus today. Lisa who works in the registrar office was rude and not helpful. I went to this campus because it’s close to my house and I only had a few minutes before work. I knew the campus was closing at 1:00 pm however, I had about 20 minutes from the time I showed up to fill the application out. Lisa approached me and asked if I had plan to submit the application today , I said yes, I plan on submitting my application today for the purpose of lifting a hold on my account. Lisa then proceeded to “wish me luck” (in a very condescending tone) because the campus was closing and I only had five minutes. When I told her I was planning on registering for classes today she said “ doubt that , you need to see an advisor.” She kept discouraging me to fill the application out she then mentioned to me that security will be locking the doors at 1:00. Bottom line is , when students are in stress and met with obstacles during registration it would be alleviating if the staff had empathy and understanding, instead of rushing student out the door maybe use a little more customer service...

I absolutely agree with these REVIEWS. When you call these people that are supposed to assist you, THEY ARE RUDE AZZ HE'LL. Impatient, rude, act like you are bugging them, act like you should already know what you are asking. Just hang up the phone; you dont know they hung up until you get a DT. WOW, it is America, they realize they can quit right...GO HOME AND BE MISERABLE. Well, I guess what I experienced tells me everything I need to know, TO BE FRANK, I GUESS THEY SAID IT BY THEIR TREATMENT...WE DONT WANT YOU HERE, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE....Point taken, you don't have to tell me twice.
