Beauty Studios OC — Local services in Costa Mesa

I went to TLC a few months ago to get a pregnancy massage and spa facial. The people were nice but VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AND THEY OVERCHARGED ME AT THE END FOR THE TIP! It started with the massage (on my side since I cannot lay on my stomach). They had me take my shirt off but she kept peeling back the sheet so my breasts were exposed! It was very violating! Then she would tell me to get comfortable and I would and then she would move me all around again. It was the most akward massage I have ever had and plus it was DEFINITELY their first time doing a pregnancy massage because she had no idea what she was doing. Then I stayed in the room for the facial which I have read from other customers had the same experience with too much light! The woman who did my facial was nice but the owner or whoever the lady is who did my massage kept walking into the room to check on me. Yea that's nice but NOT relaxing at all. Then they put a mask on me that started to burn really bad and I asked her if it was fine for sensitive skin and she said "oh um well give me one sec' left me in the room with the burning mask still on my face the massage lady came back in with her and was talking in vietnamese on the phone really loud talking about my face burning and what to do. I felt very uneasy at this point. Then they finally took it off my face and I told them to put a soothing mask on my face to deflect any more burning and theeeeeeeeen they did. It was an overall really bad experience and being pregnant i really wanted this to be a treat for me....

The staff at Beauty Studio are so helpful yet calm and professional. I asked for a moisturizer for my face's dry skin that I had been struggling with for a while, and sometimes even painfully cracks near my nose. Florence helped look at my skin and asked about my current care routine and facial areas I was most concerned about. Based on my skin and how dry I was getting, they recommended a smooth thin moisturizing oil and cream routine. The first two days of using it my face was so moist and practically glowing.

Recently I went to TLC DAY SPA located in Costa Mesa to get a good massage and facial..As soon as I went in, I was greated by a very nice young lady that went over all the specials that was pertaining to my needs. I only had to wait for a very few minutes when I was shown the room where I will get my massage. After a two hour massage and facial I left feeling so good and relaxed. TLC DAY SPA is a very clean Spa. My room was very relaxing with soft music, clean sheets and just the right lightness.
