New taco spot using this as a pop up location while they wait for their first store front to finish construction. Came here with some friends out of a recommendation and so glad we did!! Simple menu with everything made from scratch. I ordered the Al pastor, carne asada and pollo asada tacos. The meat were all super flavorful. Everything is marinated for at least one night. The carne asada was probably some of the best I had. I’m usually very picky with carne asada because they are usually just cheap cuts of flavorless meat, but not this place! Loved it. They offer corn and flour tortillas, both made in house and they are both delicious. Not sure which I prefer more. The flour tortilla are Tiajuana style so it’s a tad different than regular flour tortillas you’re used to. Horchata was great. Just for my preference, I would’ve liked it a little sweeter, but nevertheless, it was tasty and refreshing. Definitely will come back again!

Tacos La Piña is a family-run Mexican taqueria serving handmade tacos from scratch with multi-generational recipes. Every bite is packed with tradition, flavor, and freshness. We tried: Al Pastor Taco – premium pork shoulder marinated 12 hours in 24 ingredients, slow-roasted on the trompo Carne Asada Taco – tender, juicy grilled chunks of steak Chorizo y Queso Taco – bold, savory, spicy + hearty perfection Taco de Queso - Monterey & Oaxaca Cheeses House-Made Chips with their signature seasoning + fresh guacamole Melon Agua Fresca – made daily with organic cantaloupe + agave (no refined sugar!) Open Tues & Thurs, 11–2PM (pro tip: come early, they sell out FAST!)

Tried a NEW taco spot in the OC this week. The place is pretty clean and easy to find and park. Their staff is very friendly and welcoming. I ordered their al pastor and portobello mushroom tacos, which were BOTH delicious and flavorful. The portobello taco is definitely a GOOD surprise! I've never seen or tried anything like it. ESPECIALLY the corn tortilla it was on. The food taste really fresh and healthy too. Super happy with my experience here, and I'll be coming back with my friends.

New spot in Costa Mesa for sure hit the spot! Amazing tacos for a great price! I got the pork tacos with pineapple and horchata. The pork was perfectly cooked and the meat was overflowing out of the taco!! The horchata was not too sweet and just the right amount of creamy! This place is worth going out of your way to try it out! Staff are all super friendly and the wait time for food was only about 7 minutes even with them being fairly busy! Also got chips and salsa the seasoning on the chips was perfect and the salsa you can tell all the ingredients are fresh and hand cut to perfection! I can’t say enough good things about this place I will most deff be...
