I used to love this store and shopped on line frequently as well as the store, never had any issues, lately with the associates they have they are rude, they check you out before offering you help, they don't smile or greet you even if you are approaching them, it's like your begging them for something they seemed annoyed to show you or explain other perfumes. I went to return a perfume I had bought 2 or 3 weeks ago which has not being a month yet, and the associate from the kilian counter on Wednesday evening 11/14th, was so rude with no greeting or smile from her, after I told her I wanted to returned a perfum that felt didn't last on me and the chemistry changed on me the smell was not the same as when I smelled in store, right away she said 'no' not even sorry we can't refund but we can exchange. She kept saying I can't return it I said, "are kidding me this is a new perfume that I only sprayed once, By then my daughter said if there was a manager on site so she can assess product and tell me a reason why it's not acceptable so she left like 10 or 15minutes and never came back with manager just came back to tell us that manager said... "no refund nor exchange" without even assessing the product, the associate only had the receipt and that's all she took to talk to manager, the manager was not kind enough to come and solve the issue or look at the perfume. The associate just pointed at the receipt's policy saying unacceptable items are not refundable but I wanted to tell me why it wasn't acceptable if perfume is new, just because I opened package my fault for being honest and told her i tried it and didnt last and smelled diffetent, she would have never found out I opened it. What got me upset was that she was rude, prejudiced by the way she looked at us, and no manners to treat feels us comfortable or welcomed to store, I don't understand where or how these people get hired with no customer service, dont they still have to open the box to assess bottle anyways, the box was seal I should've never told her I tried on and she wouldn't even found out. I have been purchasing my perfumes and colognes here but never again will, I would take my money to Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's or Macy's where they care about customers, they do their best to keep a customer happy, take any items back, Saks store don't care to loose a customer once you walk out of the store with an...
Read moreIt is my daughters wedding in 2 weeks and I had spent over $1500 to buy a few dresses from Saks Off Fifth. First the sales person forgets to take the sensor off of the dress I was planning to ware to the shower and I had to drive back right before the party to make her take the sensor off. Two days later, I noticed that the dress I bought for the wedding had a hole in the back.
I rushed back to exchange the dress. The sale person was refusing to take the dress back because their own employee had clipped the tag by a safety pen. I swear to my daughter's life that I NEVER wore that dress. The way the tag was on the dress was exactly the way I bought it from them. Why would I even ware a ripped dress to the most important day of my daughter's life?
Bobby a ruid guy was the maneger. I tried to explain to him but no matter what I was saying, he was refusing to take responsibility for their own mistake and did not return the dress.
I used to love Saks and shoped there all the time. The experience made such a bad image of the store for me. I would never ever buy another dress from them. Shame on you Bobby for ruining my daughter's wedding. More shame on you for ruining Saks the way you did. You are a horrible manager and most importantly a big lier.
I alway take my time to write about nice sales people because I know they work hard and need support and appreciation at times. I must tell you that I don't like to write such a bad revie, however a bad manager who is sceweing the store's good customers do deserve this review.
I can not tell you how mad I am Bobby and Sacks Fifth Avenue Off 5TH. Not only they ruined my daughter's shower, but also they were lying and refusing to take a damaged dress back. Shame on Bobby and...

On Feb 2017, I was pressured by "Jessica Aguas-Caputo" – an evening dress sales consultant– at Saks store in South Coast Plaza/Costa Mesa CA to purchase a dress for my daughter’s wedding on September 2017. She made me feel obliged to buy the dress as she had spent an hour or so getting me different outfits.
I showed it to my daughter and we both agreed it wasn’t appropriate so I returned the dress. I got an approved receipt, then 5 days later I received an email stating that the dress wasn’t sellable, the credit was reversed and I had to pick it up.
When I went to the store to see what was going on, Nubia, the Dept manager, told me that it was MY FAULT, and I was supposed to have examined the dress THOROUGHLY before I had purchased it.
I have taken this to Saks Corporate customer relations and the general manager at South Coast, none of them have budged and are stating that I need to pay for the dress.
Saks cares more about their DISHONEST associates rather than a faithful customer of over 20 years. Customer satisfaction seems to be at the bottom of their priority list, and my situation is proof of this. I don’t know what is going on and what sales associates do with the dresses.
They have ruined this joyous time for me; instead of preparing for this big day, I now having to worry about a lawsuit and being able to afford another dress for my daughter's wedding.
Next time you go to the store, ESPECIALLY if you deal with Jessica, make sure you get a new dress so that you won’t be...
