My boyfriend placed an order online for our 1st Anniversary, he went ALL OUT and selected the deluxe arrangement. Unfortunately what was delivered was nothing in comparison to what was ordered and PAID for...because of my boyfriend's dissatisfaction and mine (not gonna lie) he called the Flower Stop to see if they could merely refund his credit card. The guy who answered the phone was remarkably candid and extremely helpful when he explained what actually happens when you place an order online. So here's what he said, basically, FOR ONLINE ORDERS the Flower Stop only receives 65% of the sale, the other 35% goes directly to whichever online site was used. And for this reason alone, per the extremely candid guy who answered the phone, The Flower Stop is unable to match or even come close to delivering what you actually paid for online. AND, he also added this important little piece of information, they save the "Good Flowers" for the "walk-in" customers or the customers that call directly not for the online orders! Considering my boyfriend (let's just call him Big Papa) paid online, they were unauthorized to process a credit card refund; so instead, The Flower Stop offered to send a big beautiful replacement bouquet...Yay, fair enough!! Well, I just received my big beautiful bouquet and felt compelled to write this review. I've posted a picture of the online deluxe bouquet, which Big Papa selected and paid for, along with a picture of the First delivery and the big beautiful replacement bouquet from The Flower Stop...you be the judge! Anyways, my take away (and Big Papa's ;) from this experience is to call the florist directly or physically go to the store. And a BIG thank you to the guy who answered the phone. The information and details you offered will be VERY beneficial with all of my future "birthday, funeral, anniversary, get well soon, yada, yada, yada flower arrangement orders ;).I'm not mad at The Flower Stop, just disappointed with the whole ordering online service and expectations vs. what you get, next time I'll call...
Read moreI had a horrible experience. I ordered a centerpiece for Christmas. I received the wrong one. I paid 75.00 for a large centerpiece. I called to tell them I received the wrong one. I was told that the 3rd party company only sent them 55.00 dollars. I was also told that wasn't enough for a large centerpiece. I also told them the flowers were not the same as photo. They told me in there contract they can substitute flowers I called the 3rd party back to complain they told me not true. They said all she had to do was disagree with the price and they would have been happy to pay her more to ensure I get what I paid for. 3rd part arranged for my centerpiece to get redelivered. Guess what ! it never came. So I won't have it from Christmas. I told them to never have this florist deliver to me again in life. My experience was beyond terrible. The flower arrangement was not only tiny not only incorrect The flowers arrived dead. And looked like they cost 10.00. and she ask for them back to give to someone else after being shipped to me in error. I have never had a issue with the 3rd party. I am a member. Only a issue with this company. The 3 rd party resent my replacement since this shop didn't redilver my replacement. Not sure why they do business with this shop. Please read review s before spending your money. They are similar to mine. Goggle thanked me for helping customers with a email. Beware...

My boyfriend decided to surprise me and have flowers delivered to my work as a thank you gift. He made sure to order the "Premium" arrangement (the highest quality offered with the greatest number of stems). Here is a photo of the expectation of what was advertised vs reality of what I received. He paid $70 for the bouquet. We could have hand made a better bouquet of flowers by buying two grocery store bunches and combining the best blooms from them. We are extremely disappointed. My colleague tells me that The Flower Stop is usually known for great bouquets. Well, this was not it. We understand that substitutions are not uncommon, but the bouquet I wound up with is more than 50% greenery! This was not a case of minor substitution, this was a case of false advertisement. I received 4 roses, 2 unopened lily buds, a small handful of carnations, purple statice, and the other half is greenery. The advertised bouquet is more than 30 full blooms. We wound up with a $20 bouquet at the most.
We are moving to Cottleville in October from the Winghaven area and will not be using The Flower Stop in the future if this is the quality we can expect. We would not recommend this florist to anyone. And when it comes time for the major special occasions in our lives, we will go to a business that provides a...
