Read moreAs much as we Love this boutique Inn and the location and the staff and the rooms , We have not had great sleeping experiences - we have stayed 2 times in the last month- because we love the location and the feel of the Inn. Unfortunately our 2 rooms have been over the top of the Pink Willow cafe and under the rooftop bar-our First stay in room 206 there were people above our room talking and playing music till almost 1:00 am ( even though the bar closes at 11:00) and then at 4:30 am the slamming of the Freezer doors begins at the Cafe below - it is so aggressive that it feels like your entire bed moves with every slam- this goes on for at least 3 hours as they get ready for breakfast. Our 2nd stay was in the room next to the our first one in Room 207 , we didn’t have the bar noise above us this time but we still had the freezer doors being slamming every 10-15 mins for hours starting at 4:30 am - I even brought a noice machine and put it on full blast to hopefully drown out that noise but it shakes the room . I’m not sure how this issue could be solved and that’s too bad because the Inn is wonderful the rooms are large and comfortable they have every need covered ( except the shower doors go the wrong way so you get wet when you turn on the shower) , the staff has always been very helpful. We would probably stay there again if we could make sure not to stay in one of the 3 rooms...
Read moreI recently got married at Oak Street Inn and Lounge and it was truly a dream come true. The penthouse suite was the perfect space to get ready and for my kids to pass out in between the excitement. The sunset views during our ceremony were picturesque. I was so excited for this day from the moment I stepped foot in the building and I was not disappointed. We opted for the taco bar and it was the best tacos I’ve ever had, each meat had accompanying sauces that I could’ve eaten by the spoonful without the taco. I found myself coming back to the taco buffet for the corn chips and street corn, every part of the food was amazing. The GM Michelle made sure everything ran smoothly and when it didn’t she took care of it so I had no idea any wrong doing had happened. We had a date night the night before the wedding and enjoyed dinner in the lounge. My husband and I enjoyed the truffle fries, autumn empress and oak branch drinks, and for dinner I chose the odd menu lamb special while he had the short rib. It delicious from start to finish! My sons didn’t wanna go home because they had such an amazing time 100/10 recommend for date night and...
