Ok, I wish we hadn't tried Plank Road Pizza. Yuck is all I can say. Does anyone know how to make a Margherita pizza anymore. Salad is strips of lettuce usually used for sandwiches topping and a lil onion n cheese. Blah.....The pizza waaay over salted and spiced. No cheese. We ordered 3 pizzas different, all same size and 1 salad = $72 + $5. Tip on a To-go order. Yuck. The staff was nice and friendly and attentive. The place was nice. The food is their weakness...(at least this day). They just need better quality food.

UPDATE: The owner / rep of this establishment answered my review.... But unfortunately, doesn't recognize extremely bad food when they see it in pics. We live two minutes from your restaurant, and we DID NOT rewarm it. We opened the box and started serving it. It was so hard it was barely chewable.

My ninety seven year old father had skull surgery that morning, and we wanted to give him one of his favorite things... pizza.

You could barely choke down one piece. I resent the fact that I spent over seventy dollars for pizzas that weren't edible. And instead of doing good business and saying, hey..... I'll refund your money or I'll give you a discount off your next purchase or even it won't happen again..... something to try to make up for the poor quality.

This owner doubles down and blames the purchaser.

Just reminds me that I definitely do not want to do business or give my money to this kind of business person. Thank you, owner, for letting me know how you conduct your company. Anyone conducting business, as if no mistakes could ever be made at their restaurant, is not paying attention to the quality of...

If you're in the mood for a midday treat that will leave your taste buds singing, look no further than Plank Road Pizza's awesome lunch special! I recently had the pleasure of indulging in this delightful experience, and I can't stop raving about it.

First and foremost, the value for money with Plank Road Pizza's lunch special is incredible. For a very reasonable price, you get an 8" mouthwatering pizza and a generous Plank Road lunch salad with their amazing homemade salad dressing.

Now, let's talk about the pizza itself. It's nothing short of heavenly. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, and the toppings are generously piled on. Whether you're a fan of classic pepperoni, a meat lover, or prefer something more adventurous, they've got you covered. The flavors are rich and satisfying, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.

What makes the lunch special even more enticing is the speed of service. In and out without sacrificing quality is a winning combination for any lunchtime outing. The staff at Plank Road Pizza is friendly and efficient, ensuring that you have a pleasant dining experience.

As a regular visitor, I can confidently say that Plank Road Pizza consistently delivers on their promise of fantastic food and excellent value. It's become my go-to spot for a satisfying and delicious lunch break, and I look forward to every visit.

If you're searching for a lunch spot that combines great taste, value, and quick service, Plank Road Pizza's lunch special is a must-try. I can't recommend it enough. Don't miss out on this...

The staff is wonderful. Only gripe I have about this place is on their website it says their dough is made fresh daily. Not sure if it was because it was a lunch size pizza but the dough was clearly not made fresh. Looked like it was pre made. Don’t know how to reply so I’ll add to it after the response from owner. What made me think it was pre made is the texture and how perfect it was. I’ve had hand made dough before and what I received from you was way too perfect to be handmade. The circle was perfect, the crust was was perfectly even on each slice, there were no air bubbles anywhere, the bottom had tiny little bumps on it which reminded me of individual frozen and packaged dough. Even papa John’s dough has more of a rustic, handmade look to it compared to yours. I’ve just never seen a so called “handmade” dough that was so perfectly round and smooth with zero imperfections in it. And while I’m at it the sauce was extremely bland also. I was hoping for a robust, sweet tomato sauce and all I could taste was grease from the cheese. Not trying to hate, it just wasn’t for me. If you need something to compare it to, go to Noto and get one of their pizzas and see if you can tell the difference between their handmade...

Came on a Sunday afternoon for a solo meal. I ordered the plank road pizza (a chicken bacon club). Pros: -indoor/outdoor seating which is nice on a sunny afternoon like today, you can hear the live music next door from the patio! -the pizza was great, the flavors balanced well and you tasted each ingredient in each slice! Cons: -for this particular pizza they were out of avocados and they DEF belong on this pizza. Considering it’s been months since they’ve had avocado (going by other reviews here) I think the price should reflect that not being an option or take it off the menu, possibly make an avocado aioli to go on top instead? Overall definitely tasty pizza and one of the best I’ve had in St Charles so far (they have the awards to back it up!) I’ll definitely be back with more people to try a variety of the pizzas they offer 👌🏽
