Great place! I've only just moved my stuff in today, however I am beyond pleased with the facilities, and even more so with the staff. I reserved my unit online and within minutes, I received a call from the manager, Joann. She was very helpful, and answered most of my questions on the phone. She was able to accommodate me right away, and gave me clear instructions on where they were located.

When I arrived at the main location on Rt. 130, I met Joann, and we drove to an annex of the main facility (right down the road). She showed me how to access the building, and explained everything to me as she walked me to my unit. Since I had already picked my unit size online, I was still a bit unsure if it was the right size for me. Joann happily showed me other different sized units to make sure I was 100% comfortable with my choice. She had answers to any and all questions I had, and made the entire process incredibly easy. She is not only extremely knowledgeable, but is probably the nicest person I have ever met.

As for the facility itself, it is a large warehouse building, with a loading dock, and a driveway to drive inside. They have heavy duty carts to move your stuff from your car to your unit. There is plenty of light and the building is heated. Above everything else, it surprisingly very clean; From the building, to the individual units themselves. They are clearly well maintained, which is always comforting when you are putting your trust into a place to store your belongings.

You will not regret choosing this storage facility!

*Edit: I needed an extra unit, and my second experience was just as terrific as my first. This time, I had the opportunity to meet Bill, another manager at this location. Even though I have seen the unit sizes during my initial visit, ~7 months ago, Bill was happy to show them to me again. In my original review, I had only met Joann. I'm editing this review, because Bill was just as knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Bill made the effort to find a unit that was closest to my first unit, which was very thoughtful.

No question about it as we are learning every day the year 2021 like 2020 can throw things at you that are unplanned for. Such as what sent us to Extra Space. Jake was on duty to help us out and he was a pleasure to work with. What I liked about Jake was he would take his time and explain each step before moving to the next. Jake also was kind enough to lead us to the storage unit which we found was excellent. I have had to use Extra Space in the past and have had nothing but the best experience. Thanks again Jake we will see you soon!

As life goes on the need for extra space always finds itself as a problem to solve. No need to look any further than the staff at Cranbury's Extra Space storage! I have had the pleasure of working with each one of the staff at this location and you will not find a better team to solve your issue. Bill helped me this last time and I greatly appreciated him going the extra mile for me. Don't even think twice, just walk in and you will find your self walking out with your own space and peace of mind. Just completed a one year stay at this Cranbury location. Patrick was on duty and immediately dropped everything to find me a beautiful 10 X 20 unit. Saving my day and future needs. Patrick did an outstanding job and that's what keeps me coming back. First, I would like to thank Roy for remembering my name and putting my name on a list to inform me when a larger unit would be available so I could consolidate my two units into one.

Secondly, I would like to thank Patrick for informing me that it was available. Because of the holidays and a medical procedure, I had to have. Patrick was very accommodating in assisting me with obtaining the more extensive storage. He gave me sufficient time to move my stuff despite the holidays and going through a medical procedure. Patrick followed up to remind me after the holidays about everything, which I appreciate. I also want to thank John, who works with Patrick and Roy was on the Rte—130 location and was very supportive.

I’ve been using the extra storage space on Rte-130 for several years now, and every single time that I need accommodations, they have been nothing but consistent, kind, informative, and professional. I highly recommend using the extra storage space on Rte-130. The staff there is impressive, ALWAYS friendly and supportive, accommodating, and the storage units and entire proper location are always impeccably clean and safe.
