I stopped here a couple of weeks ago on my way to a conference. My main reason for stopping was to get cash from the ATM to pay the turnpike toll. They had one ATM which was out of service...I was informed by one of the employees that that usually meant that it was out of cash. I made purchases at the shop inside and in the food court, but no one would do cash back. I then went to the Starbucks next door to the main building. Before I got to the register I overheard a woman in front of me ask about cash back, explaining the ATM situation. The manager snapped at her that they won't do that because "you people take advantage." I ordered my drink and the egg white and red pepper bites. I waited a full 15 minutes for my food because the girl preparing it would not walk the food to the serving area until she had about 5 orders prepared. I got to my car and opened my food to find that it had bacon and cheese in it. (I am a vegetarian.) I brought it back in and said "excuse me" several times to the manager, who ignored me. The young man making the drinks asked if I needed anything and I explained the mix-up with my order. He apologized and brought it over to the girl preparing the food only to get shouted at by the manager not to leave his station. He began to explain but she cut him off and snapped at him again. I then waited another 15 minutes as the girl prepared the next five orders. Of course, after all this I still needed to stop at the next rest area for an ATM. After all was said and done, I ended up being 45 minutes late for my conference. In the future I will avoid this rest area...

Read moreThe bathrooms were big and relatively clean. The place as a whole was clean considering the amount of people in there. I'd give the place as a whole 4 stars but Ray Roger's was soooo awful it doesnt deserve more than 2 stars. My son got a burger, which he ate without complaining but wouldnt finish. I tried a bite and had to spit it out. My husband got the roast beef, he took one bite spit it out and said it was the worst thing he has ever tried. I got the tenders and mac and cheese to share with my 1.5 year old. It was the only edible thing we bought and we paid over $40!! We have been on the road for almost 3 weeks and have eaten all kinds of stuff up and down the east coast. My husband and I were both in the military and we both agreed MREs would have been a step or 2 up from the food here. Save your money go to Burger King. I dont even like Burger King but trust me it will be much better than the food at...
