This is not a true Shake Shack. The menu may be the menu but it is not at all operated how any other Shake Shack I've ever visited. Read all the reviews, during peak, it's not uncommon to be stuck here for 20-30min or in my case last week over 30min to get your food.
If it was a one time, I'd never say anything. But EVERY time I've come here, it takes forever. They have 7+ people working with an army of kiosks to reduce the customer service stress but nothing moves. In NYC they have literally hundreds of people in line and never more than a 10min wait.
My trip on Sunday supposedly the computers were down. It must have only been in the kitchen because we could see all the orders very clearly on the KDS.
The Manager was MIA for the first 10min and eventually jumped on the line but there was no direction at all to the FOH staff who was standing around scratching their head wondering what to do. Eventually one young lady jumped in and tried to take charge and she quite unfairly took the full charge of every pissed off customer in line, especially order #78 who waited for 40min+ because of the lack of direction. The line of customers all decided to resolve the issue on our own, made a line by our order number so they could take our tickets and give us our food since they had no clue what was going on and they still somehow screwed that up with my food for #93 and #95 coming only minutes after #78. They shut off the kiosks but kept taking orders anyways and somehow some of those customers got food before any of us.
Thankfully food was good but who comes to a travel stop wanting to spend an hour...
Read moreOn my way home from American Dream, I decided to stop here for a bite. I ordered through the kiosk, which I appreciated because it allowed the staff to focus on preparing the food. I’m a fan of kiosks, especially when the menu is limited, since it helps prevent indecisive customers from holding up the line or slowing down the process for others.
The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a typical food stop when traveling—convenient with multiple food options available.
I ordered the avocado bacon burger with fries, which totaled $16.93. The food came out quickly, and as soon as I got to my car, I dug in. Let me tell you, Shake Shack never disappoints when it comes to a solid burger on the go. It was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The fries were lightly salted and served piping hot—once you start, you won’t...
Read moreThe staff of millennial are incompetent I have pictures of my receipt and the root beer float I paid 29.00$ for a dble cheeseburger, cheese frys and the float which was only a 1/3 full and the ice cream melted all away, the float was 7.00$ itself. I should've taken the time to speaknto a manager and read name tags but being a truck driver I was in a hurry..there are other food option vendors and I'm positive would've been the better choice.but since ive never dined at shake shack before my 1st experience was very disappointing given the extravagant prices, I will not return and I will make it my life's mission to review it as often as i can if i can save just one family or person from having such a poor dining...
