Peddler's Junction Flea Market & Decor — Local services in Crane

Unfortunately, I did not make it through this incredibly staged, tastefully arranged ‘flea market.’ Unlike ANY flea market I’ve ever attended, this location smelled fantastic; it is more reminiscent of a small town boutique than a flea market, like a fancier one that you might see in a tourist town. Upon first entering, my brain was confused by the seemingly new decor, sprinkled amongst unusual offerings, like rabbit and beaver pelts. I’m glad I continued to peruse, because I found some great deals on some awesome records. I wonder what treasures I might have missed, given my limited browsing time. I will never step foot back in there. One of the employees was not honest at all, and just wanted to make a sale out of her personal booth. I had a witness to this conversation but the owner still took the employees side and would not make things right…..Not to mention the employee wrapped an oil lamp full of oil in tissue paper and stuck it in the bag of clothes where it spilled and ruined the clothing items by the time I made it home. I do not give many reviews. I have to feel it is a special place. And this is what I felt about this store. Sure I am a native to Crane MO and like other small towns in America the beautiful buildings get boarded up or torn down but when I saw the new front on the old Furniture Store and inside it was just as warm and inviting I had tears in my eyes.
