Uncle Joes Records — Local services in Cromwell

Purchased a few records from these folks online via Discogs. I would not hesitate to order from them again, it was an absolute joy working through the process with them.

Buying a record online from a seller you don't know is always a bit intimidating, particularly if it's that perfect record you've been eying for a while. They were fabulous in communicating throughout the process, even reaching out to send additional photos that were not in the original listing, and given the nature of the records, suggested insuring the shipment. The records arrived well-packaged, and were exactly as described. Supporting your local record store is always great, but sometimes they don't have and can't get the record you're looking for and it's scary to make the leap and try some other place's local record store when ordering online. These folks made the process seamless, and the products purchased were exactly as they described in their listing. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again, even if the record you're considering is expensive or rare, since they'll make sure it gets...

Uncle Joe's Records is a trip back in time and nostalgia. We took our teenaged daughter to buy a few records to add to her collection and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My fiance and I reminisced about our youth while thumbing through the stacks and stacks of LP's. Our daughter loved the experience as well. It was a great bonding moment. We bought 3 great records for an awesome price. The store is very clean and organized. There's a coffee bar and various other drinks to quench your thirst. FYI, the store was a little tricky to find. It's on the back side of a residential house with a barbershop located in the front. This place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be coming back soon for another day trip. ...

This is a really small, but deep record shop. They have plenty of records to browse through featuring many notable artists. The cafe is also very nice, although I wish they served more things (Like breakfast sandwiches and the like). I think that would bring more people in but nevertheless, I enjoyed my time. I left with a record and then came back to give some to the store. She offered 30$ for them which was great and helped me get another Vinyl. The associate there on Saturday morning (7/29) was so nice and helpful so props to her. This is definitely a place I'd return to to find more vinyls of my favorite artists, especially since I love old school funk. Highly recommended for...
