I had fun at the fair, but this year there was only a select few big rides anyone over 4 feet tall could enjoy. I counted 6 last night including the Ferris wheel and the carousel! Most of the fair were overpriced games, or games that costed $5, but you had to spend almost $50 total to get the prize you wanted! The staff was extremely friendly, but the ratio of rides to game was absolutely terrifying! I believe it was very poor judgement on the owner’s behalf to choose games over rides. After all, I could set up a game yard at my local football field, what makes the fair special is the amusement rides that you would typically get to enjoy. Read moreThe Cullman County Fair is so much fun, and the new company running the fair is really good. The grounds themselves are kept up nicely, and the facilities always in good shape - the barn, exhibit buildings, etc. There is plenty of parking for large crowds too, and there’s no charge to park. I love the animal exhibits, the crafts, and prize veggies. The animal exhibits are very cool and hands on. It’s a great fair for kids. They have lots of deals and pass days as well.
