Im going to rate this experience 1 star but if i could i would do none bc it definitely wasnt the best, we waited in line for like 10/15 minutes with my 3 kids, my 2 brothers and my s/o to watch the New Lilo and Stitch movie/ which I understand its going to be longa long line bc its a new movie, we went to pay for our stuff we bought 3 tickets and 3 candy 2 popcorns ,2 drinks , kids tray and a pizza and then the girl(i didnt catch her name but she had blonde hair and bangs) rings one of my brothers up then she didnt realize that he had candy so she had to ring him up the second time and she rolled her eyes at him and got snippy with him, which i dont appreciate, we go to find our seat and there is no seats for us to sit at so we let the kids sit down with their uncle, we went up there and asked a different lady( her name is Cherokee) if there was any seats available up stairs she got an attitude with my girlfriend saying they was all filled, so we back and tried to find seats again, then gave up and we went back up to get a refund for our money for just the tickets for the movie , the same girl got her manager(her name is Shauna) , she seem a little irritated but didnt say anything to us directly, then she hurries up and walks away real fast while my brother behind us was coming up to get his refund not even 1 second after us and Cherokee hollers for the manager before she gets off too far and she said " he needs a refund for the same thing" she sighed and rolled her eyes, she didnt apologize neither times. i dont think that was very appropriate for a manager to handle situations like that, considering Im a manager myself. After we walk outside i realized i forgot my keys so i had to go inside , i asked Cherokee if i can go look for my keys bc i cant get into my car , lets not forget its raining outside, she said "Yeah as long as I come right out" which again i thought was rude bc i just bought a bunch food there and not only that my kids are in there watching this movie at the time im looking for my keys, I responded to her with" I will definitely be right out and my kids are in here too." So my overall experience wasn't great at all, i dont appreciate the way me and my family was treated at all , I get you're frustrated bc its busy or your not having a good day but you shouldnt take it out on customers especially paying customers. 5-26-25 at...
Read moreDunkin Theater was associated with the Carmike Theater chain. They played first run movies, but at a discounted price. The Dunkin is a historic theater, and doesn't have the same atmosphere and amenities that come with a modern theater. We like the old style feel and being on a first name basis with many of the staff. Due to the small town location, the theater rarely sells out. You will have plenty of choice seating and parking is seldom an issue. The popcorn and soda selection is as good as at many larger theaters. They recently replaced the seats, so comfort level is very acceptable. After the 5.4 earthquake, the theater was closed, but is currently being renovated by s new owner and will be open for business soon. So glad to have them back. We missed the theater while it was closed and look forward to seeing the renovated Dunkin. A piece of Oklahoma history and a gem of a theater.
Update: The Dunkin is back and better than ever! We really appreciate all the effort to restore, update and improve this piece of Oklahoma history. The Dunkin Theater is a great place to see current movies and now live concerts and shows. The seating is first rate. Be sure to stop in next door and have a great meal at Godofredos Pizzeria & Tap Room, the best place to eat in the...
Read moreFamily and I went to watch a movie at saturday's evening time. Renovations in the place are the best. Comfortable chairs, good selection of candies, Icees, snacks etc... extra large popcorn and drink for me was good. Prices are too good for what you get. Let's say that you can get really full with $12 bucks and staff it's great, professional and nice! We got balcony tickets and those chairs are huge and spacious enough to extend your legs all the way to the front and still allow a person to walk in front of you with no trouble. We were missing to comeback here to spend a night watching a movie since it closed due to the earthquake. If you live in Cushing you know that this place always has been an important part of our town! Thank you señor Godofredo and family for take this place and open it back! Prices that no other theater can beat in tickets...
