I've known Miss Ingrid since I was a teenager coming into the Castle Restaurant with my parents for a taste of my childhood growing up ARMY, the German Food there is Delicious. I have admired all of the Beautiful Jewellry at Ingrids Jewelers, looking at it like a little kid in a candy store! And this year for my 53rd birthday/Christmas present my husband, David, bought a lovely ring for me on their fantastic lay-a-way plan. He asked what the payment would be and She said "whatever you can afford and call me if you can't and I'll work with you on it." Can't beat that, can you? I have always thought she was a lovely person and I love the fact that it is a family business, her Grandson helped us with our purchase and was very knowledgeable about the selection of rings we liked. My husband and I went into Ingrid’s jewelers to create a custom anniversary piece. It is everything and more than I could imagine. The staff was so helpful, and took a dream into reality. We had the awesome opportunity to work with Kirsten, who is incredibly knowledgeable and a powerhouse! I wanted to alternate our birthstones (peridot and aquamarine), and Ingrid’s was able to secure such beautifully colored jewels; a feat that can be difficult with such light colored stones. I’m not sure we will ever be able to shop at another jewelers no matter where we are in the world because of the kindness and comfort we felt at Ingrid’s. Took my parents here after graduation. Absolutely horrible. The old, musty smell of the place hit me first. The waitress was rushing us throughout the whole meal. For example, we just sat down and she quickly asked what we wanted. We hadn’t even been handed the menus yet. She was rushing around doing her close out stuff and not the least bit of attentive to us. My food came out suspiciously fast and the food was cold. Like they literally grabbed it out of a fridge and plopped it on a plate. It was that cold.
