Cinema Dental — Local services in Dallas

I don't usually leave reviews because I normally don't have the time. But, in this case, I made the time. I don't have a single complaint. I have one query but I shied away from asking while at the facility so that's no one's fault but my own. I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed my visit at Cinema Dental. From the outside of the building, I'd no idea what to expect but once we walked in, I was impressed! Beautifully decorated. Very kid-friendly. Was more like an amusement center for kids than a dentist office and this really raised my children's spirits. My girls hadn't visited the dentist in a while -- partly due to issues with insurance, family matters & a traumatic experience that my eldest daughter and I endured at our last dentist visit (I will spare the details). Needless to say, the girls were feeling quite anxious about their visit and anticipated the worst. I tried to assuage their fears but it wasn't until we walked into the office -- equipped with a small movie theater and arcade games -- that the girls' fears finally dissipated. They were in awe and so was I. Okay, so it's decorated beautifully but what about the actual medical staff and services? Well, the staff was definitely communicative. They kept us abreast of every action they would take. The Dentist, Dr. Lopez, was kind & compassionate and he reassured us that my girls would not be forced to do anything that was too much for them to handle (unlike our previous visit at a different facility). The staff was friendly, helpful and made sure that my girls were comfortable during treatment. At the first sign of discomfort with my youngest daughter, (which I expected), they stopped and recommended her to a specialist to make her more comfortable. The best part, the specialist will be at that very facility so we don't have to drive far for the additional treatments. Safe to say. I was and am pleased with how things went and we will be returning for all of our future dental needs. Thank you Cinema Dental for your hard work and genuine care. It did not go unnoticed. So this place is the worst place to go if you have a big family. So they scheduled us an appointment on the same day, knowing that they only had one doctor and three rooms. We got there at 10:30am and didn’t leave until 5:34pm. When we told them we wanted to leave early they was like we will order you pizza because at this point my babies was hungry and when the pizza came it was only one box very thin pizza. The younger ladies at the front started to get rude and have an attitude. She act like she didn’t want to put tissues in the bathroom for me. And the bathrooms was verry dirty. They should check their bathrooms often. We thought the place was going to be much bigger then what it actually is. It’s verry small in there. And they don’t allow you to be in the room with your kids when they are getting treated. God knows what they are doing to our babies. People was in the lobby with blankets and sleeping because of the long wait. This was the worst experience of me and my kids life. Why book so many appointments for big family on the same day when you only have one Doctor. They have all that entertainment like games, Movies because they know your going to be there all day. If you have one child you will be waiting about 3 hours. Then one lady started acting like she don’t speak English. If I was you I would just go to another dentist and if you do come here plan on staying for hours. We will never be back here. This place has been my babies dentist since we moved to Dallas In 2023 they absolutely love it, I’ve been avoiding going to the dentist due to fear. One day we were at my babies dentist appointment and I seen an adult come in and say they were there for their appointment my mouth dropped open, I knew I had to make an appointment for myself after that because this place really take grown humans that’s afraid of the dentist. I had an appointment for Saturday YES SATURDAY but my tooth was really giving me trouble I called today (Thursday) and was told I can come in today, went in and was very nervous the staff was so amazing and friendly we laughed and talked and all my fear went out the door! Dr Parsons is the man with the plan, he did a phenomenal job with me he was very calm, and caring while pulling two of my teeth. I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I don’t have insurance but I was still able to afford my treatment today because of their amazing prices. Oh and after my appointment I got a toy and a toothbrush ❤️ freaking amazing!!!!! It’s so kid friendly and big kid friendly (adults lol) with all the games and mini movie theater playing kid movies. I watched cartoons while getting teeth pulled, you can’t beat that!!!!!!
