I have become a huge fan of Williams Fried Chicken. We've eaten there now numerous times and at two different locations that both seem to be equal in quality. God I love Williams Fried Chicken. the Fried Chicken itself is definitely in the upper echelon of what I have experienced in my life when it comes to Fried Chicken. the side dishes are mostly good, I like their corn on the cob, onion rings but I am not as enthusiastic about their mashed potatoes or dinner rolls…. but don't get distracted here it's all about the Fried Chicken which you must eat…. This was his first and last time going to Williams fried chicken....
Today I took someone to this location to eat after telling them that Williams was great, I hadn't been there in Year's so we should go try it ( it was his first time and last!) He hated it, the drive thru didn't work so we ordered at the window and I ordered wings he ordered chicken tender combo. His plate looked disgusting I'm so glad it wasn't mine 🥴 my wings are salty But good enough for me to eat a couple of them, I was hungry 🫠. I live almost an hour away so I didn't feel like turning around for a refund.

Williams Chicken on Ft. Worth Ave in Dallas has always had good food and was really inexpensive. They are now over priced. I went through the drive thru and ordered a 2pc mixed (breast & leg) fries, corn fritters, jalapeno poppers and and extra row no drink and it was almost 14.00. I had too pull up and wait (5-7 min). Once my food was walked to the car the bag was hot so I figured at least it was fresh to later find out (seconds later) it was the corn fritters because the chicken was not hot, the breast was dried out and hard.
