El Cacheton Tacos y Tortas — Restaurant in Dallas

VERY RUDE!! We placed an online order well before the posted hours. At 8:45 we showed up to pick up our food but the door was locked.

We knocked letting them know we had placed an online order and were just picking it up. The lady in the restaurant said we were LYING and shrug it all off and said “no es mi problema” not my problem.

When asked what we’re suppose to do they all shrugged their shoulders like they didn’t care. Finally one of the workers pulled their app up and saw our order and then suddenly the app told us our order was refunded.

They could have easily avoided the issue since they knew exactly what do do, but clearly they don’t care and just wanted to shrug it off and have us go through the process of disputing the order, probably hoping we’d never request the refund.

Also this could have been avoided if they closed 9pm like advertised...

These people are thieves. They don’t sell tortas they sell bollios. I ordered and paid $18 for 1 torta and asked for extra meat and extra cheese, and they charged me for it. Let me tell that this torta was so small and the meat was so little that there were bare spots all inside of the torta. I gave it away to my dog because I refuse to eat from the hands of dishonest people who take advantage of HARD WORKING and GOOD PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! Avoid this place there are PLENTY of other options around. Don’t make a mistake like I did and give your money to an establishment who steal’s from their customers. 0 stars if I could. They stole my money and my lunch hour. When I called back they REFUSED to make it right and that told me all I needed to know about their customer service. DO NOT...

I'm a lifelong Texan and I've been eating Tex-Mex and more traditional Mexican food my whole life.

I seek out Mom & Pop "hole in the wall" eateries and I must say their tacos are the best I've found.

Corn or flour, street or full size tacos can't be beat. Lots of meat choices I'm a pastor or beef fajita guy and they come with plenty of fresh cilantro and onions. Salsa verde or roja both very good, guacamole is good, fresh cooked tortilla chips very good.

I'll try tortas and gorditas soon.

Corn street tacos are $1 on Tuesdays. Really, people, please forget Fuel City!
