On March 24, 2016, I received a phone call from a very nice lady at 7:38 p.m. indicating that my furniture was on the way. I said "OK'. Then, I received a message from Mr. Brian on voice mail that he was finishing up a few pieces and that he would be on his and to give him a call. I called Mr. Brian and he informed me that he would not be able to deliver my furniture until around 9:30 p.m. or 10:00 p.m and keep in mind I was informed by Mr. Josh (the owner) that it would be delivered between 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. I asked Mr. Brian is this late delivery was going to be discounted and he stated that "No, I don't have time for this, I am trying to get where I am suppose to be". I stated on your voicemail you indicated that you were finishing up a few pieces and you would be on your way. Then, he proceeded to ask me if I could text him my address because the store did not give it to him. I said I just spoke with a nice young lady and you were suppose to be in route and you don't have my address?? Wow. Naturally, I hung and attempted to call the store back, but they were closed. So, I called a friend because I was about to loose my cool with the information I was given and when my friend called and spoke with him, he gave her a story that he was stuck on Barrett Parkway for two hours that is why he was backed up and asked her to text her address, because again he was not given the address. Then, he made the comment that I am used to customers being upset with me I have been doing this for years. I was shocked, because if this is the kind of customer service that is given for a delivery, then I can only imagine how others may or may have felt. Nevertheless, she texted him the address and at this time it was around 9:30 p.m. Eventually he called to inform her that he was on his way, but the address was not corresponding with his GPS and that I owed him another amount. She calmly informed him of what she had done and he was insistent on what the paper work stated. Again, she informed him about what she had already done, but he was not trying to hear what she had to say and yet he still had not made it to the house. Finally, when he arrived he actually charged her the full of amount of the delivery!!! I was livid and decided I would call the store in the morning to inform them of the situation. On Friday, March 25, 2016 I called and spoke with Mr. Josh (the owner) and as i was attempting to explain to him the customer service I received, he was not empathetic or sympathetic instead he was trying to rush me off the phone and he kept cutting me off and interjecting when I was speaking. Read moreIf I could give this company zero stars I would I ordered a bed on July 3 2020 I was told the bed would be delivered August 15th the bed didn’t come until August 20 which was not the issue when the bed was delivered they did not deliver my bed rails so the bed could not be set up and the dresser had scratches all over it this set was obviously a used model the company did say they would bring me another dresser and did not deny the set being used . After speaking to them I was told that the bed rails would be shipped From the company that following week . 1 week passed I called and was told that the bed rails were now shipped Via UPS straight from Ashley and they will call me back with a tracking number. On September 1st I received a text that unique piece furniture was coming on September 4 with my bed rails I was confused because I was just told 3 days prior that they were coming via UPS . I immediately called and asked what was going on and was told that the company would be delivery the rails them self and setting up my bed . So September 4th comes after waiting for the drivers all day they finally come around 7is pm to inform me they were told my bed rails were already at my house and they don’t have them . On September 5th I called Unique piece furniture back and told them what was going on this time I was giving a tracking number and said my bed rails were coming now via FEDEX. So I waited and the bed rails were shipped to my home on September 7th but the bed rails were obviously used And nothing that was suppose to be in the box was there no screws, no support legs nothing but rails with no screws . I was livid and called the company and said these rails are obviously used the ends of each rail was flared with what looked like marker over it also the wood was spread apart at the ends. Unique piece furniture kept telling me they were shipped directly from Ashley even though the shipping label states it came from . Read moreFirst, I ordered a bedroom set in March to be delivered when I closed on my house in May. The sales guy said oh we have it in stock we will hold it until you're ready for delivery. When I called to schedule delivery I was told the furniture hadn't come in yet. I was told one thing when I ordered it and now I have to wait.
Fast forward to the delivery, The bed frame, dresser and chest of drawers are on the truck but not the mirror and night stand. Then the delivery guy couldn't put the bed frame together so I had to wait for someone else to come amd finished the install.
I finally received the nightstand some weeks later and finally the mirror (dirty) weeks after that. Let me also say each time my deliveries were late. I receive a notification for one window and they show up hours afterward. This company is very inconsiderate of others time. Yet they always give you an excuse of being tied up on another delivery. (EVERYTIME)
I also ordered a chest of drawers and nightstand for my daughter's room. I received the notification for the delivery. I immediately called to request they make me the first delivery because I had to leave town to get my daughter to a basketball tournament. I called at 10am the morning of to make sure they were coming to me first and was told they were loading the truck and would be there before noon. As I am typing this is is 5 minutes before 1pm and they have not arrived. Again the excuse was they got tied up on something. Yet I was supposed to be their first delivery. I was told they would be here within the hour Yet the store is literally 15 minutes from my house, 20 minites if you get caught at the stop lights.
I will never order anything else from this store unless I am going to pick it up myself. The customer service is horrible! The delivery service is worse!
