Julian is very dishonest and slightly argumentative. i wanted to purchase a couch from roslyn furniture. he promised me free same day delivery & $220 for the couch using the financing option (same as cash as their sign says out front). i went to look at the couch in person and decided to purchase it. i then started asking him about bunk beds. he quoted me $339 for the bunk beds and free same day delivery if i do the couch and bunk bed together. so that would come out to be $559. he sends me a contract for $806. after much going back and forth and him explaining millions of times “the driver doesn’t work for him he has to see when he is available” and trying to charge me $80 for delivery (math still isn’t adding up even if it’s $80 delivery and $80 interest for the finance option) and then asking if i could pay $40 and he pay $40 for delivery. wanted to charge me $90 to dispose of my old couch. (just bring it to the dumpster in my apartment complex - math still not adding up) i decided to go just for the couch which he ended up charging me a total of $315 for because the “website charges interest for the finance option plus tax” - even though their sign says “same as cash”. long story short after waiting a day and a half he never delivered the couch and i ended up having to go get it myself. and disposed of my old couch myself as well. the “new couch” i purchased has a broken zipper on one of the cushions so the cushion doesn’t zip closed. luckily i know upholstery and im able to fix it. long story short, don’t waste your time with this guy. he’s a liar and he’ll try to nickel and dime you any way he can. by reading the other reviews im starting to believe he doesn’t even have a “delivery driver” at all. oh and when i was leaving with the couch that i had to pick up myself after being promised “free same day delivery” Julian says “you still have 5k credit left if you wanna purchase anything else!”...
Read moreI’m in the market for living room, dining room, and kitchen furniture and accessories but started with a recliner to see how the transaction went. I tried Roslyn Furniture as the storefront is approachable and close to my house but my experience goes downhill from there. To be generous, the one showroom is barebones with minimal representation of product. I did not like the one showroom recliner so Julian offered a catalogue to order from. Since I wouldn’t have the opportunity to actually sit in the recliner, I asked what if I didn’t like the chair. Julian told me that I could have it replaced because his business wasn’t like the big chain stores who wouldn’t accept exchanges. I pointed at the chair in the catalogue that looked appealing to me and told him that was what I wanted. What was delivered was the wrong color and when I told the delivery men, they called Julian and put me on the phone with him. He began arguing with me that that color was what I ordered and that he doesn’t make mistakes. The invoice does not have a description of the item ordered, only an item number and “Recliner” as the description. The delivery guy took back the phone and said they would come back and replace the chair when the correct one arrives. For a month, Julian and Roslyn Furniture customer service have ignored my emails and phone calls for updates on the status of the replacement recliner. Bottom line is that Julian has not replaced the recliner, Roslyn Furniture is a very unprofessional and unreliable business, and I am filing a report to the Better Business...
Read moreSo my boyfriend and I decided to go to Rosaline furniture because we wanted to get a bedroom set for a great price sadly the prices were high and we didn't have any credit so we are about to walk out but the manager there assistant that we go ahead and buy a bed with him and he would get us a lower payment then what it says which was around eight hundred something dollars it worked out so we had a we have bi-weekly payments until 90 days but sadly the shipping experience was not good when I asked him or when I told him actually that we have received the wrong bed he argued with me and told me that that's the one that I wanted and that it is on my end that we did not get the right bed so I asked him can we get a refund cuz I do not want to make payments on a bed that I do not want and he told me there is no refunds but we can get the bed that we want and just pay the difference in cash so we currently have a bed that we do not want and we are making a 90-day payment so I don't get anybody coming to my house needless to say do not come here they will charge you for something that you do not want and you'll miss days at work...
