Ordered an item for same day delivery yesterday. Today, I get updates saying my order has been dispatched. Then, at 11 AM I get a message that it's being canceled and refunded. Because the store is closed. At 11 AM. Customer service had zero idea what they were talking about, saying it was canceled because the store was closed (it was already out for delivery, and no, the store wasn't closed at 11 AM), and yes, it was available to reorder. No, it's not. This was literally the one thing my son really wanted for Christmas. Not the first issue I've had with Game Stop but I have definitely learned my lesson about them this time.
Update: customer service called me back and fixed the issue by replacing my order with adjusted pricing & free overnight shipping. I am extremely satisfied with the resolution, I just know not to deal with the online chat...

I feel like customers who are trading in or selling a Console with multiple games and controllers should have to wait until all customers who are actively in line are dealt with. I need to note that the service at the store was FANTASTIC and the lady who helped me submit this order was more than helpful. This is about Gamestop changing their policy and not notifying customers. There was an ad push that if you subscribed to Gamestop pro, you could ship out graded cards and not get charged shipping fees. This ended up not being the case when I went to send these cards out yesterday. My boyfriend and I have the pro membership and I was charged for shipping on these cards. I was told this was a recent change to the plus membership but was not communicated to the plus customer base. This needs to be addressed because this is false advertisement.
