Christi's Just for Ewe Gift Shop — Local services in Danbury Township

Stopped in today with my husband on a whim and we were blown away by all the positive Christian items in the shop. The young lady working the store was very kind and even texted her boss when I had asked what the local Christian radio station was.

Even in 90 degree temps, the sheeps and rams were happy to see us, freshly shorn, and eager to nibble down on some treats. We spent so many quarters in the treat box, that we emptied it but even then the animals were happy just to talk and get pets.

The yarn barn in my dream come true and that's when I got to meet Christi who was just lovely, kind, and knowledgeable. When I asked if we could just live here, she offered a cabin but told us we had to work which I said was fine as long as I get to hang out with the sheepies. We may be tempted to take her up on that offer!

An alternative approach to retail. Each department/store has its own building in the woods. There is even a petting zoo which doubles as a source for the site's personal yarn line. What's great about the yarn shop is the organic feel of the place. It is not a cold antiseptic place. Colors and specialty yarns just pop out at you. There are yarns that you can't find anywhere else plus samples to give you ideas. Its like walking into a candy shop for the soul. I am still not entirely sure what this place is going for in regards to a theme. I was trying to find another attraction as a stop on my road trip but my maps brought me here instead. I mean it is interesting for sure. There are some sheep chilling. The inside of the gift store was all Christmas themed, but I went there in August so I was confused.
