Ticano is not only a master of his craft, but a fantastic guy all around. There are people who “do tattoos” and there are “tattoo artists”, and Ticano is a true artist. The passion he has for his work shines through in the way he talks, works, and in his finished product. When I was 18 I got a huge tattoo on my back. I was young and stupid and wanted something to cover my terrible skin, and I put no thought into what I was getting. It sat unfinished on my skin for FOURTEEN years, until I found Ticano. I stumbled across him while browsing IG for artists to do coverups, and reached out via DM. He immediately responded and told me to pop by for a consultation. When I got there he was actually in the middle of a back coverup, and told me to come take a look. The piece he was working on looked great already, so I was immediately sold. I also knew the idea I had in mind for my coverup, and as I looked around the shop and his station I saw a little sculpture of some elephants (my future tattoo) on his table. All the signs seemed to be pointing me in his direction, and I decided he was my guy.

Over the next couple months and dozens of hours I watched something that used to be my biggest insecurity become one of the things I am now most proud of about myself. He took my ideas and worked with me every step of the way to give me a tattoo I am truly proud to show off and have on my body forever.

I have nothing but great things to say about Ticano, and plan to get many more pieces from him.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had getting a tattoo from an artist. I have multiple tattoos from different artist through my years. “Ticano” is my all time favorite. He made every moment feel so welcoming. From the moment we walked into his shop to even offering me lunch with some really good stories I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Been 30 years since I had a tattoo done…almost forgot what to expect! The experience with Ticano was amazing. He listens closely and worked with me on designs. I had my ideas and when he added his and his ability to bring the tattoo to life, ended up being an awesome experience and I ended up with tattoos much better than I first expected!
