I bought a LG front load washer from here about 4 months ago..when I got it home I did a couple of loads and noticed water pooling were it shouldn't in the front part of the door. So checked the three drain the holes and they were clogged with dog hair (obviously this machine was not cleaned nor serviced nor inspected) so next I called the store for which the employee who answered the phone was very rude, confrontational, argumentative, and very aggressive, he also kept saying" what are you going to do about it!?" Like he was challenging me to a fight or something, so finally the owner that wasn't there mysteriously appeared on the phone, I told him what was going on and he said he would come to my house and fix it himself, great I thought, he came the next day and traveled the 30 miles to my house even after his rude employee told us we would have to bring it back to be looked at, he took apart the rubber seal on the door and cleaned out what little hair was left in the drain, we started a cycle and talked for a few mins and watched the water drain down the holes, then he left after everything seemed ok, when that cycle stopped I opened the door and there again was water in the front part of the door, so I just kinda gave up on that and figured whatever right? Well I started to notice this funny smell coming from the washer, so I did some Google research and pulled the filter out, about a gallon of the nastiest smelling water poured all over my floor, come to find out I need a new water pump!!!!!! So it was like this from the start! And these guys apparently didn't even check this washer, so in the end I paid 350 dollars for this washer that now needs a 50 dollar pump and the whole time I could have gone to the discount store in Indy and bought a brand new washer for just another 50 dollars, up to you if you buy from these guys but I'll never buy from them and I would advise all my friends not...
Read moreI can't wait for another appliance go kaput! Oh no, maybe I shouldn't have said that. Anyhow, our fridge had been on the fritz for a week. I'm a strong supporter of not only local business, but good ole nearly-obsolete repair shops. Here in the Champaign area, it's tough to find such a place. I can't speak to the repair aspect, maybe someday ha, but I can attest to the ease of the buying process and quality of the product. Walked in, asked for an apartment size fridge, engaged in conversation about the industry etc. Also, great pricing. With the money we saved, we can easily afford to replace the spoiled food. All in all, it took 20 min including the friendly chatter. The clean, operating fridge was delivered in under 24 hours from Danville (40 miles). The fee was reasonable, and they hauled the old one away. This is notable considering the big box store fees for such. Trent was the deliverer. He was communicative, kind, quick, and careful to not disturb or damage anything from the plants on the porch to the flooring in the house.
Bonus: He takes credit card fraud very seriously; he asks for verification of the cardholder's name. Another bygone practice!

Read moreI called 10 minutes before they opened today. They didn't answer (obviously). I was impatient, so I called another company out of lafayette and was immediately put on hold. While waiting, Kenny's called me back and asked what I needed. I headed to town and en route he told me he didn't have all the parts I wanted, but did have all the parts I needed. He also said he could have the parts I wanted by tomorrow. When I showed up to their store, he looked at my idler pully and drum rollers and told me, "I could sell you new parts but you don't need them... clean them and use some oil on them and you'll be good to go".
The fact that he called me back without me even leaving a message, and then willingly told me that my parts were fine, absolutely earned this place a lifelong loyal customer.
The customer service I was given today is difficult to find these days. As long as this place is in business, I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you!
Update: went today for a completely unrelated appliance. He told me the part I needed wasn't necessary and told me how to fix it. I am still a huge fan of this family owned company wand will continue to...
