Kroger — Local services in Danville

I came out of Kroger Monday January 31, 2022, it’s dark out it is about 8:47 PM the parking lot is as dark as it was in December when I first brought the 8 burned out parking lot lights to Kroger’s attention. Someone in corporate answered my comments and assured me they had talked to the landlord the previous week and it would be taken care of. That would be the middle of December and nothing has changed. I am saving the Emails and if anybody gets mugged in this parking lot or gets hurt in this parking lot because it’s dark and the landlord and Kroger‘s are negligent in changing the burned out lights I will make sure that these are passed  along to the appropriate people that you, Krogers and the landlord were well aware of the  situation. What is wrong with your management do you not think it is your duty to care for your customers safety. Do you not have a lease or a contract that you could enforce? I’m sure you have some kind of legal department...

Been in this community over 40 years, with NSSB bank for over 20 years and now recently Kroger would not accept my check for payment on prescriptions. They have a new vender (Certegy) that clears checks. I don't want to always use a card to pay for things or cash either, writing a check is a good option for me. I always have ample funds in the bank to write a check. I will be taking more of my business to Walmart, they gladly accept my checks. My complaint is not with the local employees, they are only doing what they are required to do. Corporate Kroger is out of touch with the people who have patronized for years. No one avalible to assist me with my questions.Electric shopping carts stop at the door and keep stopping once you reach the parking lot. I use crutches to walk everyday so after shopping i cant carry my grocieres to the car. I didnt know i stopping being handicapped after spending my money at your store. I understand trying to prevent theft but if i cant get to my handicapped space without fighting the cart its every painful for people like myself with spinal cord injuries to stop abruptly and be jerked forward without warning.
