Today I placed a mobile order at 12:04pm, and ended up waiting 40 full minutes to receive my food. I was on my limited time linch break from work, and began asking about my order after 20mins. At 12:24 I waited about 5 minutes for an employee to notice me, and was told my order was being made. At 12:36 I asked again, and was told the same thing. By 12:40 I had to express that my lunch was ending soon and Iāve been waiting for 40 minutes already. My food was finally ready, but when I asked to speak with a manager, he made it very clear that he did not care. I didnāt expect anyone to grovel or kiss my butt, but usually after waiting more than ~2mins in the drive through, itās company policy to provide at least a free taco coupon. I asked about a full refund but he explained that gets handled through the app and he could do nothing for me in that moment. I said the refund is no problem Iāll use the app, but that the least I could get from the store itself would be some free taco coupons, since waited so long. I arrived and the store was full, I watched the entire line clear out, multiple times, the drive through cleared out multiple times, and was still not served for 40 minutes. Thatās such a completely unacceptable time that I almost wish I were more of a āKarenā, because I tried to be incredibly patient and understanding, but was given such bad service. I waited so long that around 5 customers had noticed me waiting, and asked how long it had been. When I finally got my food, one woman even expressed āshe waited 40 minutes for THAT?!ā. Anyway, hopefully the app appeal comes through or Iāll dispute it with my card. Either way, wouldn't bother with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go to the Danville Taco Bell pretty regularly, but today will unfortunately be my last visit. The service is usually only okay, not great, but today was the final straw. When I went through the drive thru, there was only one other customer in front of me, and no one behind me. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and cheesy gordita crunch with a large drink, which the order part went smoothly. Now, when I got up to the window is when the issues started. I paid for my food, received my drink, and then waited. There were two people just standing at the drive thru window, neither of them spoke to me but they kept the window open so I could hear the conversation inside. They kept complaining about the drive thru time and how it was taking too long. One of the drive thru workers even said he ābumpedā my order to avoid the time issue and it still took over 5 minutes. Once they did get my order, without apologizing or saying anything, he shoved the bag in my face and said āhave a good day.ā Iāve worked in food service so I know it can be stressful, especially on a time crunch. But I didnāt deserve the treatment I received and then to top it off my food was messed up when I received it (picture included). Taco Bell is my favorite fast food joint, but maybe itās time to find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family came through today for lunch. We placed a mobile order. One of the items we ordered was a red slushee. It was handed to us through the window very fast. The lid was barely halfway on, and it was leaking everywhere. The young man at the window was noticeably in a big hurry. When he handed us our bag of food, I asked for a handful of napkins to try and clean up the mess. He handed me a very messy wad of napkins and then slammed the window shut. We were trying to get his attention to ask for another cup since this was such a huge mess. All we got was āhave a nice dayā and the window shut.
We drove off in disbelief. Red syrup is all over us and the front seat of the car.
To top this off, our food was horribly assembled and a mess. My quesadilla was cold and the cheese was cold ( not melted at all).
We eat tacobell several times a week, and have never had this poor of an experience.
