My experience with Avalon Darien exceeded my high expectations in every conceivable way. Jim showed me several wonderful apartments and patiently answered my questions about each. His sincerity and enthusiasm about these apartments was very reassuring, which I appreciated since signing a lease is a very big commitment. All of the choices were spacious, great layouts, fabulous sunlight, clean, updated kitchens, washer/dryer, quiet, easy parking, great storage, private garage, gorgeous 24 hour gym, beautiful guest lobby, outdoor pool, walk to train and last but not least, well priced. It was hard to choose but Jim and I figured out the best one for my needs and got us through the paperwork which was as fast and easy as he promised it would be. My family and I felt at home immediately. The complex is nestled between the train tracks and highway but you don't notice that because of the well planned landscaping. The grounds are kept immaculately and snow removal is impressive. Once we learned our way around the area, we were thrilled to see how convenient the Avalon was to everywhere that we needed to be. As promised, any maintenance issues were handled easily online, addressed promptly, correctly and by a very cordial professional. Paula replaced Jim and she is just as lovely as he was. The entire Avalon staff is very kind and seem to be as happy to work there as we were to live there. The place has a good vibe and is extremely well run. Honestly, we were VERY sad to move...

I work in Real Estate/Property Management/Leasing myself, so I waited to write this review until I lived here for 6 months. I have been so very impressed with Kevin Sheehan and his team. I moved here in early spring as a single mom and new to the area. He has gone above and beyond to help in any pickle i find myself in (lock outs, annoying request to change doorknobs, painting my front door, electricity issues which needed only a switch of a button, etc ...). The Maintanence Team and Technicians are always prompt, professional, and polite. Recently, Justin and Bob, did the new upgraded and updated apartment renovations. We LOVE our new kitchen and bathroom. Couldn't be happier with the location. I am a commuting career mom and its fantastic to have parking here. The waitlist at NH Train Stations is years apparently. The property have a long list of amenities - pool, game room, fitness center (with bathroom and shower), squash court, playground! Happy and Grateful to call Avalon...

I have lived at the Avalon Darien since it was built. I have always had pride in our complex, but never have I felt as grateful for a team and community as I do now. Our leasing and maintenance teams go above and beyond their job description in everything they do. Being that I live with a disability, this is something I don't take for granted. If there is anything I can't do Raul, Felix and the entire team consistently step in and because I can trust that they are here, I am able to live independently and that in itself means the world to me. Our leasing team continually communicates care and concern for our community and their thoughtfulness in going the extra mile to show kindness and lift everyone up during the pandemic has been a ray of light, we as a community desperately needed.
