I cannot recommend Guerrilla Lobster based on my experience and observations. The way they handle cleanliness is extremely concerning. They’ve stopped using proper cleaning products and now rely only on a microfiber cloth with water, which is then stored over a toilet without a seat cover. This means the same cloth that’s exposed to bathroom bacteria ends up being reused on counters.
On top of that, the owners’ behavior is highly unprofessional. The owner’s wife, Chrissy, has been openly disrespectful to both customers and the so-called “employees”/volunteers. Instead of setting a good example, the owner allows this conduct. I’ve witnessed her changing a baby on the store’s couch in front of everyone, watching cameras from home to criticize staff and customers, and even discriminating against people by making accusations of stealing or restricting bathroom use.
It’s unacceptable that a business would operate like this—especially while only having one person working at a time, trying to juggle everything while being micromanaged. The environment is uncomfortable, the practices are unsanitary, and the treatment of both staff and customers is...
Read moreI’ve been involved with the Pokémon community at Guerrilla Lobster Collectibles since the very beginning, helping get the League started and making sure events ran properly. Unfortunately, my experience with this store has gone downhill due to repeated violations and poor treatment of both players and staff.
Chrissy, the owner’s wife, has been consistently condescending toward players and even employees — something I’ve witnessed firsthand on multiple occasions. It creates a very uncomfortable environment for what should be a fun and welcoming community.
I honestly feel sorry for Rob (the owner), and I hope he eventually realizes the harm that both he and his wife’s actions have caused to the League and the store’s reputation.
If you’re looking for a positive Pokémon experience, I’d recommend visiting other stores in the area that truly care about the community and run events...
Read moreHave spent a massive amount of money here over the last few weeks. Brought my kid to an event for the first time. He actually tied for first. He tied with a gentleman that got a win by his partner (wife) forfeiting. The tie breaker was based on who each person played. But because my child was the only junior playing he was automatically matched by the system to play off the main table. So lesson learned don’t support businesses that don’t foster a healthy sense of sportsmanship and punish kids by rigging the system just because of their age. Best part is my kids only loss was to his own friend because we told them to play each other with integrity
As a shop itself goes, they always have limited sealed product and charge market...
